you stab him but the movement changes your aim and you manage to hit his shoulder. The spear starts to send out it's vines but it'll take a couple minutes before they finish their job. The other shadow swings at you again, preventing you from grabbing the spear.

I release the spear and duck away from the second shadow.

Nothing was there. "Come on lets go. We have the water after all."
