The tapestry is useful if we can understand its hints. the more i think about it, the more it feels like we're going to disturb some monster or undead or something. xP

And your post, #391, made me laugh out loud. That poor Vulnyx. I had the image of her being all happy and proud, "I'm going to be a prize for someone! I'm so special!"

Then you named her... And I imagined: "Oh, okay, that's cool. I'm named, but I'm still super special and someone will love to have me as their prize."

And then... "Wait.. who's that fellow? What? But.. But, I was going to be someone's prize! Now I have a kid and have to go back to the stables with all the others?! But! I WAS GOING TO BE SOMEONE!"

Ahh, probably makes me a bad person that I found that so funny... >.<

With the spooky words pf ''Here she lay", and the potion does not seem like the best answer. Though I do not want to be sucked into the floor andeaten alive by a man eating monster,I also do not want whoever died in the first round by getting cut in half to come up and grab me either. The potion just seems like a death sentence too...

Chapter 12:

2 votes for the tapestry and potion and 3 for the lever. It was close, but the group gathers around their decision and you pull the lever. The house shakes for a moment and suddenly the wooden floorboards magically shift into an opening behind the group and someone standing where the hole formed almost falls in, but jumps onto safe floorboards in time. Stone bricks pull themselves out from the walls beneath and forms a perfectly stable and safe staircase, which the group descends.

You all arrive inside of a jail cell, but the lock is on the inside with a key dangling conveniently beside it. You are about to unlock the door until someone grabs your shoulder and pulls you away and holds a finger to their lips and points to the other side of the dark room.



There lay an extremely powerful Ny'Vene, so powerful you all know exactly who she is... Darkwind. Darkwind stirs in her slumber and you all hold your breath, terrified. Mewzzer, Sessi and Komadori tell their followers to be silent before they notice the giant Ny'Vene. You hear a small jangling sound and notice steel cuffs attached to her ankles and pierce her wings and connect to the floor. The steel glows a soft blue, magic, and it reminds you of the same glow the potion had upstairs.

The stone staircase crumbles behind you and now there is only one way to go. You carefully and quietly unlock the jail cell and the group steps into Darkwind's room. You realize the chamber is huge, and in the centre there is a golden pedestal with a thick tome resting upon it. You walk to the book and look at the page it is open to. The tome is magical and you learn an ancient ritual in which you combine sylesties into even more powerful beings.

You need a plan so you all quietly debate on how you are going to defeat the Ny'Vene.


What will the group do?
A. Komadori should use their ent faelora to defeat Darkwind.
B. Mewzzer should use their water kelpari to defeat Darkwind.
C. Sessi should use their fire draeyl to defeat Darkwind.
D. Komadori, Mewzzer and Sessi should use their followers as separate sylestis to defeat Darkwind.
E. Komadori, Mewzzer and Sessi should combine their followers following the tome's guide to defeat Darkwind.

MEANWHILE.....

Hemmons continues to dig until suddenly the house and earth shake. Just as they were about to shove the shovel into the dirt again they stop in mid-air and lower their shovel. A stone floor has suddenly appeared beneath the dirt with glowing blue symbols scrawled on it. The blue symbols look exactly like ancient runes you would sometimes see on ny'venes. Thankfully someone has also etched the english translation above each symbol into the stone.

The first symbol means "Earth". The second symbol means "Water" and the third means "Fire". You can't help but feel it's a puzzle and you need to figure out the order in which to touch the glowing symbols. The words remind you of the three sylesties your friends found, as each represent one element.

What is the order of the symbols?
Please just state the order, there's no multiple choice for this. Everyone IS ALLOWED to help Hemmons, but only Hemmons has the final say in the order.
