Cherry's Cooking Class

@Cherryblossom19876, with Zolnixis you will make a 4-course traditional/cultural Arabian Meal!

Appetiser: Shish taouk

This delicious Arabian dish can also be found in many cities around the world! It's commonly made from marinated chicken cubes (the marinades can vary from yogurt bases to lemon juice bases to tomato bases..etc) which are then skewered and grilled.

Hi night! I'm working on it, I promise. XD I should have everything up by Tuesday or so..? I have most of the designs done, just need to find time to upload stuff (one of my really close friends is moving back to her home of Singapore, so we're all trying to spend as much time with her as possible before she leaves)

Latvian Cuisine
Make a 4-course traditional/cultural Latvian Meal using only Zolnixis

Appetiser
Prdzii

Prdzii:
A prgs (plural - prgi; diminutive - prdzii) is an oblong or crescent-shaped baked Latvian bread roll or pastry, often containing a filling of finely chopped bacon cubes and onion. Prgi range from 5 centimetres in length to 13 centimetres, depending on if they are intended as a snack or a more substantial meal. Smaller prgi are often prized for their daintiness and are considered the work of a skilled cook.

Salad
Selyodka Pod Shuboy (Layered Herring Salad)

Selyodka Pod Shuboy:
Bacon Turnovers, Layered Herring Salad, Cranberry Mousse and more recipes inspired by Gabriella Gershenson's story Riga Revisited, about the enduring culinary traditions in her family's hometown in Latvia. In Poland and Germany, herring is considered a bearer of good fortune. In this recipe, salt-cured herring becomes a lavish centerpiece when layered with apples and a sour cream-mayonnaise dressing.

Entree
Fermented Buckwheat Pancakes with Biodynamic Currants & Cultured Butter

Fermented Buckwheat Pancakes with Biodynamic Currants & Cultured Butter
Buckwheat is usually eaten as a main course in Latvia. For these pancakes, the inclusion of dairy milk and the act of fermenting the batter does seem to give the pancakes a much milder taste than if the batter was without milk and wasnt fermented (so good for those who wouldnt normally like buckwheat). The fermentation also seems to make the pancakes quite light and fluffy.

Dessert
Maizes Zupa

Maizes Zupa:
The most traditional and exotic Latvian dish is maizes zupa (literally "bread soup"), which is the sweet soup made from rye bread and fruits. A delicious way to use leftover rye bread, this sweet pudding enhances the bread's tangy flavor with the addition of spices and dried fruits.
