Another student approached her and she left with them before calling, "Get an instructor to help you with your horse!"

Kira nodded "yes very handsome indeed" she said smiling brightly before adding" so what does he know?" she asked not sure if she had an answer or not

She led you to the stables to your horse, where it was tied outside and had tack although on. She pulled on the head collar and unattached it, handing you the reins over the horses head so you could lead Astraeus into the riding hall.

Mel grabbed the reins, mimicking Ilya's movements as she had been leading Astraeus. She continued following the girl.

She shook her head, "Most likely dressage for now, as he is your horse." she smiled, indicating with her hand for you to follow her back into leading Roman

I roll my eyes and mount the horse, making sure that I'll face the correct side and hope I'm tall enough (he should be tall enough he's about 5"7)

You went back into the riding hall. Ilya hummed, "Wait here" she dashed off, coming back carrying a set of blue steps and she placed them by Astraeus. She then pulled the stirrups down off the saddle and tightened the girth, putting the reins over Astraeus' head. She went around to the other side, taking the reins from you, "Put your left foot in the stirrup" (after going up the stairs..) "And then pull your leg over, then take the reins" she gave you an encouraging smile. You'd seem other instructors on horses earlier to see how to hold the reins and have both feet in the stirrup.

Daisy Harcombe was busy telling off her horse and trotting them in circles, however Lionel Herring was lazing around. The other instructors were also free, except for dressage, western and cross country.

Lets say you can get your foot in the stirrup, but she is taller than you. it isn't very safe to ride a horse/ pony smaller than you x3
