I definitely am finding it challenging to explore the event, because the enemies are really powerful, but I'm having fun either way.

A good tip for the Zone is making sure your pets are the same level (the Zone takes your highest leveled pet in the party and that's the level for all enemies). And definitely make sure your gear is upgraded regularly- here is a guide on that stuff: it's a little old but still fairly useful for getting started, if that helps.

Otherwise, glad you're having fun! The festivals are pretty great for getting a boost in the game, since you get some neat stuff to accessorize with and get to try out the later zone battling systems a bit early.
