Alice quitely started to pick at her meal, eating it in a slow calculated way. Her golden brown eyes scanning the room as she ate as if still waiting for some sort of danger to approach. She always was like this when eating but not a soul could explain why. She also never- ever- finished a meal. Even if she was starving and given a small portion she wouldn't eat the full meal. No one questioned it much but somehow they knew it was something of her past. She didn't engage in conversation either, instead seeming to lose herself in her thoughts. It was a scary thing to watch really. Alice was a talkative person by spirit but at times like this.. no one even looked at her too much in fear of setting off whatever it was that made her this way when.. Well, there were many events that got Alice like this. It was why she was always sent on a night mission if they were required to stay up all night. Alice had bad insomnia so had much trouble sleeping. Interesting as it was, it was also quite troubling indeed. While Alice thought, she slowly ate her meal. Picking the things she liked most to eat last.

Nanita finished her fillet mignon and looked around. "Hey, Nic hasn't come in. Weird. He knows his favorite are out today, I told him earlier."

A huffy laugh escaped Derek as they finally entered the dining hall. He looked around before back at Harlin. "Really? You look up to me?" he asked with mild surprise. Then he realized what he'd done there, now looking down at the shorter male. "Uh... no pun intended." He gestured towards some open seats and walked over to them. "I've always looked up to you, though. you have great leadership qualities, and you are always so positive." A small smile came upon his lips as he pushed some blue hair out of his face.

Raph sat awkwardly amongst the girls and boys. The boys made him feel more comfortable, but the girls he hardly knew. He tried to make himself as small as possible and kept his hands on his precious notebook as the dining hall filled up.

Nanita glanced over at Raph, sititng nearby. "Hi i'm Nani, what's your name?"

Raph looked at the girl who had greeted him. He offered a small smile that just screamed how awkward he felt. "Raph," he replied. "What-what's yours?"

"Name's Nanita Marker. My brother is Nicote, you might know him."

Alice had finished her meal and saw that Nanita was busy at the moment. She stood and took her tray to the washing area putting it in with the rest of the dirty trays before walking out of the dining hall towards the dorms. She didn't have many friends- or any- to talk to at this time so it was best to just go to her dorm and stay up for a little before taking a nap.

James waved to Derek. They were friends... of a sort. Really distant friends or something.
"Hey Derek. How u liking the place so far? Harriette isn't letting me go. She's my sister." James explained as Harriette held him in a bear hug.
