"Well he is my brother," Lazi started picking up Mali in her talons before following Elenor in the air, "He was taken away from me when I was younger," She let out a tiny sigh, "When we where younger we where inseparable, now we can't even have a conversation without him getting mad," She explained holding back another sigh, she needed to stay positive, for Mali.

Vernik just watched, distaste glinting in his eyes, he scowled at the dragons, his tail starting to lash again. They where probably all traitors, waiting for the right moment to take him out... but he would be ready and if they tried anything, he would kill them.

" It would probably be better uh ? You can call me Skaaul then, my title is a bit of a mouthfull anyway." He rely with a playfull smirk. He was still a bit weary of Kai'hel but he knew better as to juge too fast who was an ally or an ennemy, he woudn't repeat the same mistake twice.

Elenor listened intently, storing the information away for later. They were once innocent and happy and after being seperated Vernik had turned into an overly aggressive dragon. And both loathed the Empire. It wasn't a coincidence - just two more dragons that had their childhood and lives torn apart by the Empire.

She sounded... sad? She had little experience with the emotion but knew enough that sad people often wanted cheered up. "If... if he get's worse, I could help. If you like. If he gets violent... I could help," she didn't know what else to offer, so left it at that as they flew over the rooftops back to the tent.

---

Kai'hel chuckled. "I just didn't want to disrespect your title and put it like that, but yes, it is a mouthful isn't it? Skaaul it is then. Nice to meet you." He gave a friendly smile. He couldn't see Skaaul's expression while being forced to look at his own talons, but he sounded receptive enough.

He turned back to the map and Cesura's rundown of the mission. "What sort of timeframes are we looking at here? And do we have a fallback point should things take a turn for the worse?"

"Thanks," Lazi said still sounding sad as guilt curled tight in her stomach, "But there is nothing you can do... he will always be like this now..." She trailed off as she slowed down a little, not really wanting to see Vernik at the moment, "Grass... she was my sister. I... she died when she was younger."

"We need to be in and out in around three hours at most. If things go south we can retreat back to the tunnels and lose them there." She paused before adding, "We should wait until Lazi and Elenor return before deciding anything final."

-----

Kaharua opened her eyes again to find familiar dragons around her. Hawksong and Wrenlet, good to know they survived. She sat up gingerly.

Elenor noticed Lazi losing speed and tilted her wings to match her pace. She'd had lots of brothers and sisters in her training years - or at least that's what they had known each other as. But they'd always competed against each other. Elenor knew this wasn't how people outside of the building she'd grown up in behaved, a lesson she'd learned the hard way.

It wasn't hard to guess that Grass' death wasn't natural. Vernik, Lazi and Grass. The first two seperated and the last killed. And the survivors all the more bitter because of it.

"Dragons die," Elenor tried, not really achieving an empathetic response. "And dragons fail. But either way..." she hesitated, the words she had been told in her youth escaping her for a moment. "Either way, you do better next time. And you don't let it happen again. And you move on." She stammered to a stop, not remembering anything else.

---

Kai'hel nodded, examining the map further. "I never properly learned the layout of Khurazir. I'm always getting myself lost," he gave an embarrassed smile. "Hopefully you can keep me going in the right direction."

Cesura smiled, "I'll sure try. It took me a while to figure out how to get around this place." She took out her karambits and started sharpening them against a sharpening block. I wonder if I will find the others down there.

Lazi nodded slowly, though she did not seem to hear her words, "I guess it's stupid that I complain so much," She sighed wistfully as she picked up speed, landing beside the tent she slowly went inside, placing Mali down so she could run around, "So... what is the plan?"
She didn't look at Vernik, he had gotten bad at her and she couldn't deal with the stress anymore, she could feel his gaze bore on her but she ignored it, waiting patiently for a response.

He looked to the dragon that was ex-empire "They could try but if I give them orders to help escort the prisoners." he said as he looked at everyone in the room. "They will follow me once we get far enough away from their post we can attack them."

"If i am the one who say it, it wont be disrespectfull." He reply to Kai'hel with a shrug. It could be in some cases if directed at him but realy those this statement realy insulte were not deserving to be called related to him anymore and he had kept the title mostly for show anyway, not like he would ever admit that out loud tho.

Turning toward the newcomers, well, more like those who came back realy. "We were waiting for you to comback, we are going to go raid one of the Empire's building so we will deffinitively nead as mutch people on our side as we can." He had told the last part mostly so Vernik would think before lashing out again, or at least he hoped for it, but without looking at him, as if it was a normal statement.
