"um I don't think there's that much water near the building tho right?" Maple asked them out of curiosity unless they wanted her to use the sewer water but that's disgusting

"the building has a fire system in case a person with fire related abilities accidentally sets something on fire, or a regular old fire starts" Ruby explains "that's what these little blue lines are here on the map"

I feel fire pricking at my paws again

"okay well there's still alot of time to get ready since it's literally morning, and I would like to eat take a shower and go for a swim" maple says to her "and where do I go to get a change of clothes and do you know how to turn her back into an actual human" she says pointing to cara

"we don't know how to turn her back, there's a nice place around here that takes in newcomers, they'll give you clothes and a room and you can go swim by the beach" ruby tells us "Alex can take you there"


Alex, looking a little surprised, nods. "have you tried thinking very hard about being human? that works in movies" i add, unhelpfully.

Maple followed Alex to her room and stuff she had her own bathing suit she just needed some new clothes

"there are some fresh clothes in the closet" Alex says, gesturing to the closet. i look inside and grab a bathing suit , putting it on in the bathroom, stepping out and awkwardly dropping my dirty clothes in the dirty laundry basket, not sure where else it should go.

Alex lays on her bed, sketching something on her notebook. "what are you drawing?" i ask, sitting next to her. "i'm drawing maple" she says, turning the pad so i can see. the portrait is hyper realistic, with the same milky smooth skin and mouth turned down in a permanent slight frown. despite the similarities, there are two differences in this portrait; her eyes are covered in flames that lick at the top of her brow, and two drops of blood flow from each corner of her slightly open mouth. "nice.." i say awkwardly, giving her a thumbs up.

I sit down at the helm of the ship, flames licking my fur gently

Maple smiles and goes in the bathroom after her pulling her bathing suit out her bag and goes in the bathroom to change, she comes out with her dirty clothes and her friends dirty clothes in an empty bag so she doesn't have them resting in the middle of the dirty floor for everyone to see "ready?!" She asked happily

I change into my bathingsuit as well, making sure to neatly put my dirty clothes where they belong. "I guess-!"
