Oh, and I used my Advent Calendar Trait Disruptor on poor Ras Thavas (I think this makes either five or six disruptions for him!).
Feel a bit dizzy...
Whattaya think, group?

SpaceElf, I say keep trying! Goodness knows I don't give up until I get exactly what I want. >.< ...Sometimes to the chagrin of my Sylestia (and real) wallet.
But! I think Ras Thavas looks good. ^.^ What did he have before you started shuffling him?
Also...I just noticed that you've never released a 'vorpa, SpaceElf! How have you...not? >.> I mean, I've released over a thousand... I'm impressed.

Ras Thavas had a Gene that I actually wanted--I think it was Gene Two Alpine Newt--plus some kind of wings, to start with. I may leave him like this. I'm not thrilled with the Head Fins, but they are okay, and of course I like the Bio-luminescent Spines. I was kind of hoping he would get one of the traits that didn't exist when the Sunsongs came out, of course.
And I have released very few pets because I hate releasing pets, Frawn. I breed very, very, very conservatively, and if I don't care for how an offspring turned out, I can usually find someone who likes the traits I don't.

Just a difference in play style, I suppose. ^.^ I am definitely not conservative with my breeding. I once bred a pair 24 times to get what I wanted, releasing the first 23 "not quite"s. By the time I got it, didn't even want it anymore. I recently sold that hard-earned offspring and her very tired parents.
EDIT: Also, I currently have 10 tabs of tadpoles in my hatchery...there is no way that all 250 of them are going to be able to stay... Nope nope.

I do not breed conservatively. I breed on whim, thinking that it will become a project, and then I get distracted by some other shiny thing, and I end up forgetting what I was doing.

I used to breed like that, Amarok. Once I bred pretty much all of my females (of all types!) then I got RL busy. For about two months 75% of my playtime was sorting through my Stables. I'm a touch more cautious now. Although I still smoosh pets together at times just to see what happens.
Space, if you're not happy with Ras Thavas, keeping disrupting him. Once I've started disrupting, I can't stop before I'm happy (and broke :P ). I think he looks lovely, but I'm a fan of both of those mutations.
Frawn, I didn't realise you could see who had released what/how many. New toy! ;) Btw, if you need any help with your projects, hon, just gimme a poke. I have a few pies left for example.
Faeyla, I love what your disruptors have made of your lad. Lovely! :)
To run with Frawn's question, I'd love the next Vorpa Theme to be brighter. I loved the Red Curse Ryori from the Fall Fest, so neon with a black base sounds great. I'd like a rainbow/disco feel too. I only really like the Emperors from the Winter Vorps, the others are too similar really. I love blue, but I feel Vorps have the colour covered now. (Exception for Turquoise)
I was looking around at Winter pictures today and came across this:
(Technically off-topic, but who can resist Shetland Ponies in cardigans? Not me!)

BTW, does anyone have any Sunshine Sylvorpas? I only have one, and would like to increase their number.

What is a Sunshine Sylvorpa? Are they like the Springtime nixis? I can't find them in the advanced search.

From what I understand, Amarok, they were one of the first "themes" (if not THE first?), and were released before the tagging system. A tag was not retroactively applied, and thusly, they cannot be sought with the search tool.
I didn't know anything about this until SpaceElf enlightened me a couple months back. And honestly, I haven't heard anything about it since, either. I'm super curious about who might have one sitting around in their stables... Goodness knows, a bunch of people who had one a couple years ago won't be active players anymore.
They are really pretty colors, I gotta say. I thought they were called SunRISE Sylvorpas, though. ^.^
SpaceElf, have you made general forum posts about it?
