The pungent smell of badger overwhelms you as you follow the noise, which has died down. Crashing, big footsteps can be heard approaching.


I curiously follow the sounds. Although I heighten my guard and keep wary if my surroundings.

"Thank you" the tom dipped his head. Blizzardstorm still had his hackles raised, growling lowly, as if aware of something the rest were not. Cinderstrike had come back with some wet moss, probably from your nests, and cleaned Brindle's wounds. She mewed something quietly to Thornpaw who disappeared, bounding off down the mountains. The grey spotted she finally spoke up, "If Brindle can travel, we should go."

You manage to dodge to the side as a badger trampled past, covered in bleeding wounds, cat fur stuck in it's claws. You let out a deep breathe, that was a close one.

I ducked into a bush and watched the Badger trample the rest of the nearby undergrowth before slipping out of my line of sight. I sniffed but unfortunately couldn't smell anything over the Badger reek. Although I knew now that I wouldn't find any prey.

Blizzardstorm sighed and forced his fur to lie flat, "That was a female. I thought I smelt milk traces on her for a second.." he trailed off at the end, "Do you want us to escort you back?" he dipped his head at the mountain cats. Brindle had started stirring.

I knew it was stupid. But I was really curious. Why? I don't know. So I followed the Badgers unmistakable trail.

(Oh no) You carefully follow the trodden undergrowth. Every now and again, you think you pick up some milk scents but they're gone. A large cave was visible and it reeked of badgers.

Brindle looked at her partners, "I'm fine. I'll catch up to you Lion, Bramble." Blizzardstorm padded up to Cinderstrike, who gently pushed Brindle back down. The classic mother cat knew the injured she wasn't fit enough to move yet, "Can you get some moss, Blizzardstorm?" you hear her murmur to him.

Brindle looked at her partners, "I'm fine. I'll catch up to you Lion, Bramble." Blizzardstorm padded up to Cinderstrike, who gently pushed Brindle back down. I look at Lion and Bramble / so where are you guys headed?

Lion glared at you and replied after a while, "It isn't any of your business, now leave our stones or we'll claw you worse than that badger."
