Mino smiled weakly "Are you okay?" She asked, she could tell that Whisper was mad at herself and pulled her into a hug "Are you okay," She reapeted again not answering Whisper's question.

"Why," Whisper paused for a second, "why did you move me out of the way? I didn't mean it to turn into this." Her bandages had multiple blood stains along with a new slice on her left cheekbone from the rock that cut her.

Jay set him down on the grass, "Are you okay? Calm down."

"I... don't want you to get hurt, it would break my heart," She said quietly her voice so low it could be classified as a whisper "And turn into what? I think you are beautiful."

Whisper felt flattered by her words, but didn't show her emotions. "This entire situation. Now there are multiple students injured all because I stood tried to walk outside."

"I think you are wrong, nothing is your fault. If Fate had not come here in the first place none of this would have happened," She said quietly as she looked away thinking, her judgement clouded with pain.

Oni mumbled again

"M-Mom! Wh-hy ar-re yo-ou s-so cl-lose t-to th-he ed-dge? D-dad? Da-ad!"

Oni screamed and woke up with a start. The rocks fell down instantly and Oni was crying. He clutched his hammer close to his chest and cried. He didn't see Jay, and if he did, he didn't acknowledge him.

Whisper suddenly picked Mino up and walked towards where she was sitting before, resting her down. "I'd prefer you not falling and getting stabbed again." She said afterwards, glancing towards the door before back to Mino.

"Well then stop walking into danger," Mino said softly a smile spread across her face "I can't save you all the time you know," She teased gently before starting to cough.

Whisper tried to help her, of course unsure how to. She averted her gaze, "I almost had her. I almost got the chance to make Fate give in, then that black kite human (Correct species this time) stopped me. I was so close..." Whisper looked back towards Mino.
