"Except you do! Because you don't know where the exit is, and I do!" Oran says.
"And... you would tell us where it is?" Nikkie asks from his viewpoint a few feet away.
Oran laughs, "Only if one of you defeats me in a battle. If you both want to try, I can bring Feadaow back here."

She sighed. "Nikkie, you have to let me do this. If I die..." she paused for a moment. "Tell my story, okay?" She readied her broadsword, not wanting to make the first move.

Nikkie tries to jump in before it was too late, "No, it's a trap! Can't you see? If you two decide that defeat is death, than ~!" Oran had flicked his hand and Nikkie was suddenly in Feadaow's grasp. The Wendigo placed a paw over Nikkie's mouth so he couldn't speak, but otherwise, Feadow was just there to make sure Nikkie didn't head into the fight. Nikkie would make sure Feadaow didn't enter the fight either. Nikkie watches glumly, shoving the Wendigo's paw away, but making no effort to finish what he had been saying.
"Let's see how well you know how to weild that thing." Oran says, his broadsword heading into a lazy upperhand arch.

(with you yeilding that specific broadsword, the chances of you getting injured are reduced)

(I may possibly have read all the stuff that pertained to Kua so I might have possibly known that.)

Her eyes filled with worry. More scales popped over her body. "O-okay." She eyed Oran wearily before getting into a position were she could easily try to parry his move.

(Sorry.)

Oran's sword bounces off your's. Oran took a moment to admire your blade. "Ah, I see now. It may be a bit harder to defeat you, but I shall do it!" Oran attacks again, this attack a little bit quicker and more bold than the last.

"Wouldn't want to risk it."

Vagabond heads back the way he came.

"Agh!" She tried to move fast enough to match Oran's movements.

The way you came was just like how you left it. The path split in two.
Left - feathers everywhere on this path
Right - sounds of an argument coming from this path

Oran's blade bounces off yours again. Oran instantly following up with a different strike.

Apparently something had happened between Nikkie and Feadaow, because from the corner of your eye, you could see those two were having a silent argument. Feadaow slugs Nikkie before turning back to watch the fight. Nikkie retaliated by tackling the Wendigo and biting the Wendigo's forearm.

Oran didn't seem to be bothered by what was happening on the sidelines. He didn't seem to care one way or another. He was focused on the fight in front of him - which is to say between you and him.

Vagabond looked behind him to check which one he came from, then stared at the right path.
