"I'm good" he says shifting uneasily. "thank you, though" he adds, after i jab him with my elbow. we watch as she inspects the birds wing, while the bird looks generally distressed. the two other birds look nervous, with one of them flying over to land on Gabriel's shoulder. he reaches up absentmindedly, stroking the anxious bird.

After an half an hour She managed to move the bone back in its place after picking out all the pieces that has disconnected from the actual bone "make sure the bird takes it easy and try not to hit it's wing with an amount of pressure don't want it to loose the actual wing yes?" She said handing him some medicine for the bird "give it this if it is still in pain after a few days" she smiled and picked up Elliot

"thank you" he says again, a bit awkwardly. he takes his bird back, who, happy to be returned to it's person, makes an odd but kind of cute noise. "uh, sorry about him. he doesn't get out much" i apologize, glancing at him and his birds "or like...ever."

"it's okay I get it I don't either I'm to busy these days anyways" she said knowing she was being awkward "well um stop by if you need anything else"she says picking up last of the baby foxs "gotcha" she says with victory and places it in her room with 5 others closing and locking the door

"we'll get out of your hair now" i tell her, grabbing a distracted Gabriel by the arm and dragging him out the door. "thank you for taking me here" he says, looking around warily "your home is...nice" he forces out. i roll my eyes. "that was the most unconvincing thing i've ever heard." i tell him flatly. "you're right i hate it here it's way to loud" he admit, eliciting a grin from me. "i can tell. next time don't lie" i warn.

Elliott hissed at them on the way out and but Her ankle before running back inside

joining the group waiting by the entrance to the small town, i give them a wave as i ride up, and Gabriel offers them a curt nod of his head. "well, his bird is fixed, i still have muffins and a distillery at my place, why don't we celebrate our return?" i suggest, goon naturedly.

"i would suggest you do so, i am afraid we cannot stay long" Gabriel says, neutrally. his voice gives away no emotion, and i can't read his face through the mask. it was intimidating at first, now it's just slightly annoying.

Ella put the leash on elliot and decided to take the path threw the woods walking to town
