The sylesti, black as night, approached the forbroding alley. two green eyes flashed. She was about to leap into a dumpster when a voice yelled

Cmon, you little fluffball!

But then, a fearsome growl alerted all...

This was no fluffball.

The hooded sylestai let out a whispered good bye as she stared down at her sleeping family before slipping away into the night...

The sylesti stopped, panting, to catch her breath. She meekly peered out from the abandoned tree hollow, making sure she wasn't being followed anymore. Around her neck she carried a small crystal, glowing softly, yearning a new wearer. Her time as the queen of her kind was coming to an end, and she was growing frail. She smiled, feeling the weight of the egg she was expecting. Whoever wore the crystal necklace was deemed the ruler of the species, and she would make sure the only neck it was placed upon was her beloved child.

Shes following you wherever you go. You cant escape your own fate. She will always know.

I cant think straight. Im sinking deeper into my mind. Forgetting everything. Shes making me blind.
I'm getting controlled by her string.

Seeing things that isnt there. Im confined in her hypnosis. Like a world of despair. She sees herself as an apotheosis.

Looking at your own reflection. Seeing her evil shadow behind you. She wont accept your rejection. She has control over me with a voodoo.

But she knows I need her. Together we are the dangerous confusions. She makes everything I see blur. She is The Goddess of Illusions.

The white creature hissed, and stepped towards its prey, their back raised in the moonlight.

To the green eyed goddess
I must admit that I have never written
about my muse before, so this may sound strange.
You see she is a green eyed goddess.
Her hair is spun heavens gold
and she moves with the grace of falling leaves.
When she dances the stars shine brighter
and my world becomes peaceful.

I was there when the universe became to existence.
I will be here when it ends.
I am the creator of life.
I am the destroyer of worlds.
I am all that was and all that will become.
I am a voice crying out for help.
I am a gentle caring soul.
I burn as bright as the sun.
I freeze all that gaze upon me.

Her hair was painfully black and strong enough to end wars with
Her eyes reminded men of the sea
Just as intimidating as intriguing
And she would sing her serenades to the moon
And they would break their necks just to stare at her
This goddess trapped on earth

Many years I have wandered.
The stars as my guide.
In all of my travels,
I have never once met another
as beautiful as her.
For she is the sky at night.
