Newt and Nicote stopped aruging to sleep. But even then they argued in their dreamworld. It was a good way to avoid getting bombarded by their many stones and the nightmares that haunted them.

Astra stayed asleep and invisible as shadows from the tree fell on her.

Newt and nicote wake up. Still arguing. About their priorities.

"Look, you can't keep going on alone." -Newt
"I can."
"No you can't. You nearly died saving me."
"Doesn't matter."
"Uh yeah it does. Besides you can't save her if you're dead."
"SOmeone's gotta die to get the stone of death."
"Dude.."
"Look, i'm gonna do this and i'm doing it alone. Just....look, just save her. Save them all. You know the risks. I'm getting the Deathstone and I don't care what you say. I'm gonna do it." Nicote lowers his voice. "Just tell Astrana.."

A minute later, Nicote slips outside and into the shadows.

Newt faceplams himself in the tent. "What have I done?"

Astra woke up feeling the shift in the shadows. She looked toward the movement and saw Nicote. She jumped from her tree and said. "Nicote, where are you going."

Nicote glanced at her.

"To find a stone. I'll be back...probably. If not, Newt's taking my place." He turned to go.

Her eyes widened as she remembered the stones that were left to find. "No the only ones left to find are Death, Anger, Love, and Hope. You are going to find Death aren't you."

"Maybe i am, maybe I'm not. Doesn't matter either way. I've escaped death before, I'll do it again."
