Maple sets down her towel under the umbrella and heads to the water stopping once it reached her waist before jerking forward and going under the water

after awhile of sunning, i get up, wading into the water alongside maple. i slip under the surface of the water, feeling the cool stuff on my hot -probably burned- skin. it feels nice, and when i surface and open my eyes, i spot maple a bit away.

Maple swims to the deep end going deeper and deeper touching the bottom and making a small world pool with her power

"isn't this nice?" i ask her, swimming by "just being able to relax and have a swim on a nice, warm summer day? the beach is beautiful!" i exclaim, giving her a playful splash

She giggled and hit her with a wave to the face "Yep!!!" She says laughing wildly

i laugh as she hits me with the water, fruitlessly trying to shield my face. alas, i still manage to inhale ungodly amounts of seawater and am left sputtering as maple laughs at my misfortune. "perhaps splashing water at someone who controls water while also being in a large body of water was not my brightest idea" i smile, moving the hair from my eyes.

Maple laughed even hard moving her hair behind her ear "but it's still fun" she smirked and made a ball of water and held it in her hands before it started to glow a pretty blue "yes!" She said achieving her goal

"true" i snicker, flicking a few drops of water at her. "after this, do you want to see if we can get some ice cream? i left my wallet at Alex's house but we can stop by and grab it"

"definitely!" She said popping the water over her head giggling

we swim around for a bit more, before stopping by Alex's house to change into fresh clothes before heading down to an ice-cream shop i spotted on my way to the beach, stepping into the cool shop. i buy both of us a cookies n cream ice cream cone, handing maple's hers first before taking my own.
