"Offering a guy roses from your hand will probably scare them away" he pointed out. The rose wrapped itself around your finger

She cringed a little " Yeah Not what I was really thinking " she said with a chuckle more like making thorns, and the flowers themselves just as practice" she said trying to pull her hand away

It explained their legend, how they lived in swamp rivers and caused thunder. Sometimes.
