The Atlantic Ocean: This isn't supposed to represent any animal in the Atlantic, but rather the ocean itself. I live in New Jersey, right on the coast in a small beach town.

White Tailed Deer: We have wild herds that come! They run in the middle of the street, and eat people's sunflowers! I'd like to include them because they have always been something I see all the time outside.

Piping Plover! An endangered bird from my state! There are lots of laws protecting them! Maybe someday we'll see more of them. These live on beaches, and as I mentioned before, I live on the beach. Where I'm from these birds are pretty well known. I challenged myself to use only one gene/mutation. I wanted to keep it simple.

To be quite honest I don't know if other teams have official foods or not. I had to look up all my information because I had no idea. I wasn't sure about the tail on the goldstar design.

My home town is known for quite a few little things. None of the those are enough to make a pet design of. The only big thing that Spokane is known for (at least that I can think of) is Expo '74.

Expo '74 Ryori
Expo '74 was help in Spokane, Washington.
Spokane was the smallest town to ever have an Expo held there.
I just used the basic Expo '74 colors. Nothin' special.

Very nice designs hon. Though, how do they represent your hometown or current town of residence?

I want to thank you all for also participating with in this challenge. Below, you will find some comments, critiques, and or friendly suggestions from me to you. Please located your name and see what I had to say to you.

@Akira... Just from your beautiful designs, and descriptions you clearly have one heck of town full and rich with history and stories. Way to go on your submissions Akira. Keep up the great and wonderful job that you do.

@Freki.... I am grateful for the design you did do. Nothing is too big nor too small. Your "Wheat Farm Lupora" is very pretty even if you see it as plain. Believe in yourself, and you will come through. I look forward to seeing what else you might be able to come up with for this challenge.

@Dragon.... I can only image the amount of traffic near where you are if you live near one of those parks. >_< But at the same time, I am a bit envious. I love the parks themselves, but that is ok. I will continue to save to revisit. As for your design for "Mickey", I think it was nicely done for the traditional appearance for "Mickey". Though, I am not sure if it is the spring flowers or the handkerchief, but one of them is throwing it a little off for me. I just can't place my finger on it so to speak. I still like the over all design. As for your "Stuff The Magic Dragon"..That is something. The design is beautifully done, however someone failed at originality there I think, but at the same time inventive. Very well done hon.

@Oreo... I like that you took a back step so to speak, and reached for some real history there for your town. I think it was very well done. And in your case, though simple, the design really was pulled off. Good job!
