I dunno if this is still active... but I would love a Yeti/gorilla/chimp kind of thing. Basically a big ol hominid type, but hopefully furry. The males could be hump backed like a gorilla with the girls being more delicate but still able to be fierce for battling and all that. Maybe these could be a legendary type? Only available from a legendary quest or something like that, and more difficult to breed?

Would be hilarious to have a "shaved" mutation for a furry pet, lol.


Also would love to see a ferret/otter type pet, one that would stand up on its hind legs and could be kind of like a mamalian version of an oriental style dragon with wing mutations or something.


And if we are really getting into it, a hummingbird pet would be awesome! A pretty little birdy with a sword for a bill. If you have ever watched RL hummers, you know how combative and fierce these little warriors can be. They may look all cute a sparkly, but if they were the size of a hawk nothing would challenge them! lol

I've only seen the flying monkey suggested so far, and Greenmann's gorilla/chimp, but would really love to see some monkeys on the site! <3

Monkeys, apes, any kind of primates-related sylesti would be lovely. ^-^

A Dragon/Bug hybrid!

I would just LOVE if there were a hedgehog based sylestie. :D something fluffy with a little bit of attitude, something adorable but not all weak looking.. Me and my friend call hedgehogs dragon turtle mice, I would LOVE to see these here. I also like the idea of a more wolf like sylestie? I know we got the lups, but I just think it would be cool if there were something stronger, bolder, prouder, tougher, more full of a coat, but still canine.

Mm for me I think something goat/sheep related would be nice, like the rams have big horns and the ewes have little horns~ ooh and maybe some can have wings, or multiple horns, and different shapes of horns, and some can be shaggy and not fluffy or something nyeee
also I really want to see something snake/dragon-y thing around

I wonder about throwing in some elements of the baku in if a tapir-like pet is ever done on Sylestia since sylesties are normally inspired by certain animals but aren't direct copies.

The baku of legend is a Japanese mythological beast that devours nightmares. It's also become the Japanese word for tapir, and in recent times depictions of baku have come to more resemble tapirs. Sometimes now they just depicted as tapirs. (I think the cuteness factor of actual tapirs is playing a role here.) Previous baku had more of an elephant like head and they're still often depicted with a longer trunk. I do think it would be cuter though for a base pet to have more of the tapir face. It's really adorable. And possibly have a longer trunk and elephant like ears as mutations.

Regardless, tapirs are really cute. Especially the babies! I'd be happy to see any tapir based sylesti.
