He certainly wasn't going to admit to having come down from the heavens only just recently. Sure, he had heard of the war, everyone had..
But as far as the more minute details, he was more or less uninformed and still attempting to fill the gaps and update his centuries old knowledge himself.

His wings glowed a shimmering gold with a faint aura of a halo behind him as his hands lit up with holy magic.
When he had properly identified the man after a tense second, he dismissed it, refolding his wings along his back with a respectful and apologetic bow of his head to the young prince.
