She sigh and her form seemed to blink out of existence for a moment, replaced but the large form of the maned beast. It usualy take a few moment for the large hybrid of a dog and a lion to understand who was the threat but when you are having an human holding sharp piece of metal in front of you, well, you get the memo a bit faster. Her first response was the 'death omen', jaw tightly shut she start growling, displaying each individual fangs and claws to the human's eyes while her fur puffed out making her look larger. She was ready to lunge and shake the ungratefull thing around until it submit, if others may have let that attitude slide, playing with dangerous metal object was a big no to her and she was going to make it clear to the pup.

(fun fact, sometime the statue of the female foo dog is seen with the jaw closed. In japan, this is associated with death. May as well use this for it's body language lol. )

Hatter smirked, "Finally, something fun. It's weird you know, you say you are trying to protect us but you try and rule by fear. Ask Lyla, she is scared of the leader of the group, a bit odd. I of all people know what happens when people try to control others with fear. They die. So stop giving your lame speech about how you are trying to protect us... unless of course you have proof. I doubt your motive is to help people," He was mad, very mad.
He had been called a dog, he didn't like that. He didn't try to control his rage, he let it control him. In one swift move all the knives were out of the wall, all aimed at Wes. One of them was not though, one was aimed at Lyla. He was happy to finally be free to do as he fished and oh boy was he going to enjoy this.
"You deserve this," He growled the knives flying towards their target, most of them at Wes, one at Lyla.
"There is one thing people always underestimate... how many knives I truly have," In one quick motion he pulled a knife out of his pocket and thrust it towards Wes's stomach, trying to get him to back off.
