As the sea serpent, AKA Alicia, she had a strange, just the slightest feeling she was being watched. And she didn't like it. Before, she wouldn't mind you much if do done wax watching her, but back then, sea people from Atlantis didn't try to eat each other. But now... Everyone was after anyone.

Dante steeled himself. His arms were ready, his beak was ready, his venom was prepared. Now he could only hope he was going to succeed in this and maybe even get out of it alive. The thing was coming closer. There, now was his chance, it wasn't going to get any closer than that.

Without a second thought Dante launched himself at her. His arms bread out, to try and wrap around her, beak at the center of them prepared. He couldn't speak in this shape, there wasn't any anatomy to facilitate it, but he was strong, stronger than his human self would ever be. Now he could only pray he was going to hit his target, his venom would be effective and maybe there would be one less monster in the world.

Alicia thrashed and let out an agitated roar in the attacker's face...who was an octopus?! She didn't have any limbs other than her wings, but she had a very long body. Though, her long body really wasn't for squeezing, more for swimming fast. And her wings made swimming even more easy. She flapped them, bug in the water, it was a bit...no, it was surely slow, but it could still whack this guy in he face.

It was thrashing, but he wasn't afraid, the blood was pumping through him, the wings were trying to reach him, but he could use them to his advantage. The water agitated by them might push him away, but he could reach her with his arms, trying to use the suction cups of his arms to attach himself to her. Unlike her, his body may not make him a great swimmer, but he was excellent at wrestling. As soon as he could gain a foothold, he would be able to look for a good place to bite, what would happen after that? Well.. suffice to say he didn't expect to survive the encounter, but left alone, without his family or any friends, he couldn't care less.

Alicia was frustrated. She couldn't talk in her stupid sea serpent form except for roars and growls. Right now, she wanted to tell this idiot to leave her alone. But she saw that wasn't gonna happen. She could grow linter because she was in the water. Because her serpent form was mostly made of water. But growing longer meant using up a lot of energy, and besides, what good would that do?

((Drama incoming! Remember that venom is not an exact science and she has a big body, so while it may be very painful or crippling, it doesn't have to be fatal))

One of his suction cups had latched onto something. He was now dragging himself along her wing, moving fixed to the thing's body by the suction cups on his arms, looking for a large vein. She could still try to bit him of course, but he had already found something. The skin of her wing was no match for the powerful beak at the center of his body and the venom was injected, regardless of any attack on him. He knew his organ sack was vulnerable, but he didn't care for the time being, the most he could do was detach two of his eight arms from her and lift them, hoping to use those to defend himself, but that was about it.

((She's not really all that big. When I meant grow longer, I meant that the parts of her body would stretch, and make her more skinny! Aw, come on! Little more drama than just a bite? XD))

Alicia let out a mad growl and thrashed around. Long and big as she was, she was a swimmer not a fighter! She could win any race. But not any fighting match. She was made for speed! Not fighting. If she could slip out and swim away, she could just get out...or her second thought, turn back into human and try to swim away live that.

I'm still assuming she is several times heavier than her human form, otherwise she couldn't strangle a great white shark, whereas he is about the weight of a large human, albeit with an armspan of 7 to 8 meters
The problem is that venom is his most formidable tactic, but yes, turning human would allow her to swim away and might even stop the fight. She is poisoned though, so there is that.

The thrashing didn't bother him much. His suction cups and arms wrapped around her provided more than enough traction to keep him from falling off. He was still hoping not to get bitten, but his venom had been injected, now all he could do was wait. Well he could try and strange the thing, but his chances of success there weren't nearly as good in his opinion. To strangle the creature, he would have to get to its neck without getting bit. Although... depending on how flexible the thing was, the neck was probably the safest place fro him anyway. Gradually, arm by arm he started to move.

((Okay! Human form it is. Bite first? Hey...what about some super macho sea monster tries to attack her...no...how to get fatally hurt?))

((I already mentioned him biting her in my second to last post, so there is that... He has no cutting or slashing attacks, all he can do is squeeze and use venom and maybe his beak. Hmm... fatal injuries might not be great. they'd be, well, fatal and she'd just be dead. as to how to fatally injure him? Tear open his mantle, the arms grow back.))
