the bird tries to escape, ruffling it's feathers and flapping its wings until it as finally had enough and nip his finger, flying up to harass it's parent for something. it sits on his other shoulder, poking Gabriel's cheek with it's beak and shrieking directly in his ear.

with all three birds now harassing him, Gabriel looks extremely tired, so i pour him a glass of whiskey and hand it to him. he thanks me with a nod, pulling his mask askew to drink the alcohol.

Asmodeus glances at the birds, chuckling a little at Gabriel's predicament. "Taking care of those must be like flat-out parenting."

Mizuki: I tell adromeda that ill take one too already a lil tipsy but still up fr a drin as i watch the sunset ....

"it's worse" Gabriel tells her, as i pour a second drink for myself and mizuki. "usually children don't fly. or eat small animals" he wrinkles his nose at the bird, who gives it a curious peck.

Mizuki : Thank you i say to adromeda as i down the whiskey its strong and good i smile looking u at the birds ........

Gabriel manages to distract the birds with a muffin, which he lets them squabble over, taking a seat across from me. "well..." he says, sipping his drink "we're going to have to leave soon." he states. i groan loudly, slumping in my chair. "and we're going to need more people" he adds.

"well, that's not going to be easy" i say, pouring myself some more whiskey. something tells me i'm going to be needing this. Gabriel takes the decanter from me, swigging directly from it. "i know." he sighs "which is why it's going to absolutely suck when i announce that in front of the town tomorrow."

i give him a sympathetic look, swirling the whiskey in the bottom of my glass, contemplating what to do next. i let out a long whistle, and both orion and the birds give me a curious look. "maybe this should stay with you tonight" i tell him, passing him the decanter. he smiles wryly, but noticeably doesn't decline the booze.

Mizuki : I can think i can help a bit i say shlyly im freinds wth most of the people and other i knw are mostly aquantinces i say smiling wanting to help ....

"perhaps" he agrees, nodding. "it's getting dark" i say, standing up "we should head in for the night. Gabriel, do you have a place to stay or do you just want to sulk in the woods like some sort of domesticated cryptid?" u ask, earning a chuckle from him.

"as tempting as the offer is, I'd rather stay in a house, if you don't mind." he says, helping me clean up. "you can stay with me, then" i decide, nodding "no offense if my dog eats your bird" i add, whistling to call said dog to my side. he trots up happily, dragging his stick with him. i command him to drop the stick, and he does so with a whine, dropping his head. i open the door for him, and he goes to lay on his spot next to my bed while the rabbits dart past and head for their master.
