Cherub followed you eagerly, but you were finding it hard to stay quiet as you moved through the forest. You were able to find a stick and sharp stone, as well as some plant that you managed to weave into a temporary bow shape, although it wasn't very strong and would be hard to be accurate with. The animals heard you coming and scattered, due to your heavy hoofsteps.

Jaxith realizes that this isn't working out, so he makes a new plan. "Cherub, you and I are gonna go back to town, I'mma buy me a bow, and maybe some quiet shoes, and then we're gonna head out all quiet like and do a stakeout of sorts. How's that sound Cherub? Or would you rather just go back to town and be done with our adventures for the day, and head out tomorrow?"

I looked shocked and stunned upon hearing the horse speak, but quickly recovered.

*We should go east, the North will be dangerous for me if Im unprepared, plus, who knows if my brother is even still there? All I know is that he went in that direction at some point for who knows how long?* I decide, crossing my arms as I considered my options.

Cherub simply let out a purring-like sound, entertaining himself by clawing at the dirt, although it got under his claws. he then looked up at you, tail waving side to side. Tilting his head, it took him a moment to realize you were heading back.

The journey back to Hericon was reasonably easy, no events happened. You arrived back into town and it was much quieter than when you had left. Proceeding to the market, there was a range of bows from high quality to low quality.

Jaxith asks around for pricing on the high quality bow and if there is anything he can do about how loud his hooves are while he is hunting.
