Mel | residential area

Mel perked up, she was pretty sure she'd never had a conversation or listened to a conversation with that person before. She glanced at Liam and looked him up and down. "I'm pretty sure that's a completely American thing of you to do right there." She said with her arms crossed. "You are?"

Leah Yamada - Plaza
Leah snorted. This hardly looked like the monster the girl had been talking about earlier, but still dangerous - those claws and fangs looked sharp enough. Leah racked her brain, drawing on everything she knew about dogs. Showing them you weren't a threat? That wouldn't help, though, she doubted she could look submissive while dragging the lion-dog away. No eye contact? She supposed she might be able to manage that. She dropped her gaze to her boots, which also served to check that the knives in her boots were ready to grab at a moment's notice, but kept the beast in her peripheral vision.

Rei
(Rateways, headed to residential area.)

Rei heard the bickering when she left, but brushed it off as no big deal. She knew if there was a real problem that Wes, Lyla or kiyo would alert her.

As she walked, she couldn't seem to move her mind from the issue with the new guy. If any of her people ended up dead or hurt, there'd be hell to pay.

She did as much doubt Wes' capabilities in dealing with Hatter as she did worry in general. Rosie tended to be over concerned about the gang, then basically being the family she had left, except for... Nevermind.

Joji
(Headed to plaza)

"Oh, okay. I see. Boss shouldnt mind the car to I much."
Jojo couldnt think of anything else to say, so she just stayed quiet.

Valia Allendrik - Foo dog
location : plaza

The oversized dog stop growling and slightly tilt its head toward the voices, of course since the foo dog was very mutch not like it's human counterpart, it wasnt associating the young male human behind her as a friend or a foe. Instead she looked at it a bit like he was a curious occurence but juged that he wasnt a danger to her safety.

It didnt took long for it to turn back to the problematic human pup, they had lower their eyes but still had those metal things in her hand. Was it progress in her book, no, not yet, but it was a start. She roared once, hitting the ground with autority while glaring at the female human.

Minor blood warning (again) and major sadness ahead. Read with caution.

Lyla Sky
Location: Hideout

She screamed as the knife pierced her shoulder. In all out fear and pain she forgot about the feud she had with Monte and screamed, "Montgomery!"

Montgomery Moon

Location: Hideout

He heard Ly scream for him, his full first name. He forced himself into a sitting position and saw Ly with a knife in her shoulder and some guy with a ton of knives in him. He barely cared about the guy and crawled towards Ly. He felt dizzy and weak from the pain in his ankle but he still got to Ly pretty quickly.

(And now for more omnipotent third person stuff)

She began to cry again, scared, alone. Sure, she feared the leader, but so did everyone else, she thought. She thought that everyone else feared getting on her bad side which seemed to be her only side sometimes. She was in a mass amount of pain. It had hit her right shoulder, blood oozed out and stained her shirt.

Monte guided her head to his shoulder. "Shh," he whispered to her. "You're okay. You'll be fine. Everything's alright." He petted her head, running his gloved fingers through her hair. "There there, you're fine. It's only a little wound." And that was a big lie. If he didn't take her somewhere soon, she might die. He countined to pet her. "Shh, it'll be alright." He began to sing the only song he could think of.

"Everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be okay
It's gonna be a good, good life
That's what my therapists say
Everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be just fine
It's gonna be a good, good life"

He stopped singing. That wasn't a very good song to sing to his sister, even though she betrayed him moments earlier. He continued to pet her.

"M-moon," she whispered, finally having stopped crying. "Please keep singing."

So, he sung a different song.

"So, rockabye baby, rockabye
I'm gonna rock you
Rockabye baby, don't you cry
Somebody's got you
Rockabye baby, rockabye
I'm gonna rock you
Rockabye baby, don't you cry
Rockabye, no
Rockabye-rocka-rocka-rocka-bye
Rockabye-rocka-rocka-rocka-bye."

And he kept singing that one, kept petting her. She kept breathing.

She was still alive, but he didn't know for how long.

(First song: I'm a mess
Second song: Rockabye by Clean Bandit.)

(DeHaro's busy so lol. I assume they have their own emergency response team but for the sake of fun and me not writing more npcs. We'll disregard that.)

Miko
(Station)
"What's your emergency?" Miko tapped her pen at the edge of her notebook. Darn it, she was hoping to get off shift tonight soon too.. Why did she even volunteer for extra hours again?

DeHaro
(Plaza, because I'm stalling now, lol)
"..Well, if we can even get the dummy in the car. He's uh.. hiding under it, growling at something."

Wes
(Hideout)
Wes was careful with his limited mobility to avoid his strikes, keeping a low gust of wind in front of himself as a shielding buffer.
"Get her out of here." He growled to Kiyo and Monty, keeping his eyes locked on Hatter.
"You've ****ed with the wrong man and the wrong crowd. Let's bring this outside."

Kiyo
(Hideout)
Kiyo was panicked at this point, knowing he was next. Wes wasn't a man that forgave easily and even bringing this psycho in here was a death sentence to him too. He trembled a bit and tried to help Lyla and Monty, shielding them from any other attacks their way as the ushered them down the hall.
