Now Alicia was just plain annoying and mad. She knew he had bit her. She felt a bit of stinging pain go along her wing. Yup. She'd go with Plan B, which was turning into a human. She slowly concentrated on hr Atlantic/Human form. Her body started to grow shorter and her face wasn't stretched. But she heard a low rumbling.

Oh no. This was bad. he could hear the low rumbling sound of an approaching earthquake. He had to get away from here and if the venom had worked, just clinging to this monster was not going to wok. Besides it somehow seemed to shrink in his grasp.
Just in case he let go and squeezed water from his mantle to jet himself a few meters away from the woman that was slowly emerging. She didn't seem as frightening now. He could see on her arm where he had bit her, she was smaller than him now. Neither ink now venom or his arms would help him against that and he was not a particularly fast swimmer. He had to get up, to the surface, where whatever was going on on the seafloor couldn't affect him. He was already drawing in more water, propelling himself upward, staring at the dazed looking woman. She was a monster, it didn't matter what she looked like, she was a part of this disaster... right?

Ouch. Stupid bite. Alicia felt the pain stronger now since she had shrank. Ouch. She felt the water shift... She was really deep down. No one could swim up that fast where she was. Stupid octopuses. She tried swimming up. But when she looked up, she saw a huge chunk of rock coming down at her.

((What kind of octopus is Dante? Blue ring? Or what?))

((Crossbreed, he's part blue ring, part giant pacific octopus and part mimic octopus - but a were octopus is very different from normal ones anyway. So I guess his species is 'kraken' XD))

He looked back down at her. He knew there was a rock coming at them and that they were very deep don, but the rock wasn't falling too fast for him to get them out of the way, if he had to. The woman didn't seem so dangerous now. He couldn't help but wonder who she was. and all he had to do was get into open water to escape the sea quake. It wasn't that far...
It was stupid. It was definitely stupid, even if she wasn't evil, she probably hated him by now, but nonetheless he propelled himself back down, trying to wrap his arms around her, then propel them both sideways to escape the falling rock. Trying to save a dying monster, really Dante? Was this what had become of him?

Alicia was surprised that the octopus had come back. She had no idea which kind of octopus he was. Maybe she should've studied more back at home in...Atlantis. Maybe blue ring, mimic...pacific? If he was part blue ring...Holy Neptune. She'd be dead.

Witchy sighed. " We believe it to be a compliment to name ourselves after a god, shows respect to their names... " she then noticed him getting closer and his arms slowly going around her waist. " W-what the hell are you doing?! " she yelled, angrily pushing one of his arms away. Was this shapeshifter trying to perv on her?! Just when she thought some monsters weren't bad enough...
She glared at him angrily.

((from her studies she might figure out that he is too big to be a normal octopus. Were octopuses may be secretive, but their existence and their connection to the kraken monsters is probably known in atlantis))

Whew. Even if it was a mistake, he at least wasn't injured or suffering for it and they were not being targeted by a rock at the moment. Now all he had to do was somehow get himself and his cargo into open water and possibly even up to the surface until the quake was over. Not an easy task my any means, but with the help pf some of his arms they were slowly rising, he kept the water in his mantle to propel them out of the way of larger rocks, which saved them once or twice, until finally there were no more cliffs looming above them. He hoped she didn't think he was trying to eat her.

"Haha. Weak gods can't even claim their own names for themselves. Not that they're particularly creative with those names anyway, mind you," he kept laughing as one of his arms was being pushed away.

"Aww and I just wanted to have a little bit of fun. You're pretty you know, are you soft too?" he continued with the hand she hadn't pushed away yet, apparently unconcerned, his fingers long, thin and very strong. He probably could have resisted her push, f he wanted to, but for the time being it just seemed like he didn't even know he was doing anything wrong... or didn't care.

Oh Neptune. Alicia couldn't really feel her arm now. Oh crap. Now what?! She had an octopus guy trying to get them both to the surface, but then what? If he was a blue ring, she'd still probably die. She searched her mind for anything useful about octopuses she had heard.

Witchy glared at him. " Take your hand away right now or have to blown to smitherens... " she growled through grinded teeth. She raised one of her hands and fire started forming on her palm, threatening him. " And don't you dare insult the spell gods...they are what make magic here... " she growled again.
