Bank information here - Basic Information and Savings Q&A should help.
Anyways, keeping funds in the bank helps players to save their money simply by not having it on hand, similar to how a real life bank works. Over a period of time, those funds also gain interest or have extra funds added to them as a thank you for keeping your money in the bank.

Set up and I'll meet when I see.

After this the Bank won't be loaning anymore diamonds. The rest in reserve will be for those who've stored diamonds with the bank to they can be available for withdrawal.
This will be in place until some diamond loans have been paid off.
