Sooo.. I wanted to make a suggestion to take something often thought of as creepy.. and make it Sylestia-style.. cute. ;D
Enter inspiration: The Peacock Spider. This tiny spider is about half the size of your thumbnail, is covered in fuzzy hair, and bares a colorful fan like appendage on it's torso that it can wave around to attract mates during mating dances. Peacock Spiders come in a variety of subspecies, each with it's own unique fan pattern, providing plenty of marking inspiration right off the bat.
Since the site contains fantasy animals that are inspired, but not exact to real life animals, such as the Vorpa, I have done some modifications for my example sketch:
Suggested Modifications:
The addition of a visible, cutesy mouth between the mandibles makes spider look more friendly.
Six legs are easier to fit into the confines of the site's 500x500 pixel frames than eight.
Four eyes is plenty to work around rendering. Rendering the ones that don't face forward could cause mutation oddities anyhow.
Sexual diamorphasism suggested to be skipped, as females without the fan appendage would need seriously different looking genes/mutations more than likely.
I also did up a quick example of some potential mutations, just to show likely mutation slot useage:
Suggested Gene and Mutation locations:
Gene Slot 1: Leg/body
Gene Slot 2: Fan markings
Gene Slot 3: Runes
Mutation Slot 1: Head Slot
Mutation Slot 2: Wings? And/Or Could do this slot as different Fan shapes. The real Peacock Spiders also have a variety of fan shapes to draw from to begin with.
Mutation Slot 3: Leg Slot (Armor, jewelry, spikes, etc).

This is awesome! Sylestia doesn't have nearly enough invertebrates. (A scorpion or preying mantis would be awesome too)

I think an otter type thing would be cool, maybe a kangaroo? a koala? Something fuzzy and cute!
I also love humming birds and cardinals, birds are really beautiful too :)
Edit: I just went through the list and I think a snake/ Chinese dragon idea would be so cool!!

IDK how often this thread gets looked at, and I know there's supposed to be a new species soon, but wow Zelly's spider ideas are epic!
Also, I looked at the list (because somehow I have continually managed to miss this part of the forums), and some other suggestions I think would be cool would be a turtle/tortoise, a frog/toad, an octopus, and a whale. Basically, I would really really love to see another sea monster, lol.
Obviously, I don't expect all (any?) of those to be included anytime soon, but if I had to make an appeal for just one of those, a turtle-type Sylesti would be the easiest to divide into traits and come up with mutations for.
Anyway, thank you for reading. I hope you like my ideas and consider them for the future. Have a nice day! ^^

I like an I idea of this dinosaur type creature with a long neck and fur down it's spine. Females have longer hair.

My cousin is looking into buying a 'Finger Monkey'.
After looking at the pictures on Google, I have to say:
A monkey/lemur hybrid pet type would be amazing.

Ok ok i think i have a solid pair of ideas.
I've seen a lot of requests for Bats and Turtles. Figured i might elaborate on my own ideas for those two!
Now, the turtles i think could have gemstones on their bodies, kinda like Bulbori but in a way that looks different. They'd probably run from the forehead and run up to the shell, and continue where the shell meets the tail. The tail could be long, maybe even like a tiny whale tail. There's be tiny horns on each side of the gem line on the head.
I can definitely see cool looking Runes for the shell. Maybe different horns. Dunno what else.
For the bats...i don't think full on bats would work, since that'd be too plain. But i think a bunny-like legs and ears, big beady eyes, tiny tusks, cleft hoof toes, chinchilla tail...if that makes any sense, with everything else staying bat-like. Or maybe bat ears too.
I think the wings should get similar treatment as the Ny'vene wings. No idea how other genes work.
