As the sylesti flew over the sky she looked down below her. She was, by far, the most majestic creature in this land. She landed gracefully on a cliff ledge and surveyed her kingdom. The creatures of the forest saw her and bowed low to their beautiful, gentle, majestic, and fair queen.
But alas, the offerings they gave her didn't help her loneliness. She longed for someone just like her, which she could speak and relate to. She felt alone in this world.

The sylesti walked with a confident sure footed gate through the market. His ears pricked upwards, they flicked towards every new sound as his nose twitched taking in the scents. He smiled and stepped out of the way of a young female and her friend who giggled at being addressed by such a handsome male. With a swish of his subtlety coloured tail he pranced down the street measuring the weight of the ladies purse in his pocket. People were all too willing to underestimate a blind sylesti, he chuckled to himself as he blinked his watery blue eyes.

(I'll do @Deidriel's instead)
The sylesti crept along the top shelf of the cabinet where the sorcerer stored his glass potion bottles.
Vengeance welled so deep in his heart that he found it difficult to keep still, but he knew if the sorcerer saw him, that would be the end of him.
So he kept quiet. As he shuffled across the wooden beam, eyes squinted, he recognized the collection of bottles containing the very souls of his family. The labels were already peeling, and dust had gathered at the top of each bottle.
He carefully extended an arm, right behind all four of them, and sent them flying to the ground.
They all shattered hard on the cold stone floor, reforming his parents and siblings, who were well ready for a fight.
The sorcerer, terrified, bolted out the door as soon as his eyes met those of his parents.
The sylesti, who was filled with relief, took a loaf of bread in his mouth and headed for home.

Tonight was the night, the final battle. As a mother, the sylesti worried for her children. Were they really safe here in camp? All the warriors were already marching across the plains, crossing into enemy territory.
This started a week ago. It ended today.
It began when one of Navystar's followers crossed the border and decided to hunt on their territory to his heart's content, and more joined in.
A scuffle commenced between the two clans, and then, it broke out into this. A war. This fight would determine which clan survived.
Fearing for her youngling's lives, she watched as the last warrior slipped out of camp, and into the growing darkness.

Something moved. It was the breath of a shadow, a slight stir in the air. Then there was nothing. The sylesti emerged from the dark, gazing with cold, dead eyes at the plain below. Its face was not visible. What was it?
Then it stepped forward, less silently than before, talons clicking against the stone. How could something so big have moved so silently? Its great wings swept across the floor, and the feathers were disheveled, snapped, missing, broken. The small and lethal beak was cracked, and there were gray scars on its feathered neck.
It came to the edge of the rock spear, the moonlight illuminating it. Its cry was shrill and piercing, shattering the night's stillness. The sylesti spread its feathered wings, its long, powerful tail swishing ever so silently. Its wings did not falter despite their injuries. It flew across the moon, and its shadow swpet across the land, making even the Ny'vene's cower.
It emitted a cry once more, and the sound reverberated through the world, striking dark fear into even the deaf. This creature was not to be trifled with, and it ruled over all.

"Now tell me.. what makes you angry? What makes you mad?"
She growled in response. "What makes you think everyone here is glad? Why are you destroying all of their homes?
"Well, you're the hero.. I'm the villain. Oh, why can't I get in?" He said, his wide grin turning into a grimace as he stared deep into her blue eyes.
"Stay away from me! Stay away from all of them. You don't deserve to be here! You should be back in the Corrupt and not here." She spat, her ears flattening.
She lunged at him and pinned him down. "Get far away from here! I never want to see you again!" She snarled. And with that, he let out a sigh.
"Too bad." He said, rolling over and getting off. She scrambled to her feet. A big, black blotch appeared. Hovering in midair. He leapt through it, and dissapeared with the portal.

Known as the Moon Beast, she is feared by others, for she only goes out at night, with glinting dark eyes and beautiful silver fur, along with several cuts from previous battles. Every night she flies through the tree tops with her moonlight wings in search of some unsuspecting zebra or human to eat. Finally, she spots a lone gazelle grazing in a pasture, and she silently lands. Carefully and slowly, she creeps toward her prey and she pounces. The poor gazelle didn't stand a chance against its predator. Afterwards, the Moon Beast heads off to her cave, satisfied by her meal.

They conjure
Your deepest thoughts
Into the same

Within your darkest nightmares,
an eerie creature stalks around,
feeding off of fear and hate,
forced to walk the darkest ground
