Sunset Defender
The Sunset Defenders are an elite group of Spirit Hunters who protect islands from the onslaught of dark spirits as the sun sets. Their scythes are enchanted with magic that allows them to destroy the spirits and send them back to their plane. Sunset Defenders are gifted with special vision that allows them to see the dark spirits. (The thing behind the Sunset Defender is a dark spirit).
This is based off of the sunsets I think of when I think of summer, as well as tropical islands (kind of).

I love the information you have provided, and do believe it is a nice piece. However, how does this design represent something summer time inspired, or "Fun In The Sun" as is required by the challenge?
