The soft patter of feet behind you alerts you that Zach is following you.
"Hold up. Just a moment you two." A wary voice says. A kitsune seems to just... appear in front of you.

"What do you want kitsune?" She put her hand on her bag, afraid that the kitsune might be against them. If he is, I'll just try to knock him out.

The kitsune looks around him as if making sure of something. "Okay, I know this may sound a little bit off.... No it'll sound completely weird..." The kitsune pauses, seeming to have an internal struggle with himself, "Well, I'm not sure how it'll sound to you, but I'm not supposed to be here with you at this moment, I just wanted to wish you luck on your journey and tell you that the monsters here will eat you or kill you if they get the chance. There is an exit, but... Oran doesn't like anybody escaping. It's practically unheard of that anyone escapes. Except I have seen someone leave. So you might leave you might not. Also,"
The kitsune hands you a dagger hilt first and offering the other to Zach. "I don't have any use for these since I don't need them any more. If I want another weapon I can get the pick of the litter. It's kind of cool, kind of annoying. These daggers have seen me through my time as a tribute, and I hope they serve you as well as they have served me. Now, I've got to go before Oran figures out I'm up to something other than raising a Gargoyle army..."
The kitsune seems to dissappear as quickly as he had come, leaving you with a dagger you could take or leave. Zach had accepted the dagger the kitsune had offered him, and was already securing the sheath.

She quickly secured the sheath. "This'll help down the road." She had ignored most of what the kitsune has said and only heard the bits and pieces of the fact someone escaped out of the labyrinth. Yeah, right. I'm sure someone did.

"Lunch?" Jaz said sarcastically. "Why you must be Breakfast then." She looked at the bear with an eyebrow raised. "Wonderful, this place just gets better and better." She frowned, almost extinct, well in that case she didn't want to kill it, but on the other hand she wasn't about to become lunch.

"Nice of him to give us daggers." Zach notes, "Though I think I'd prefer a bow and arrow." The dragon's wings flap twice before settling again. Zach was eyeing at how high the ceiling was compared to the walls and wondering if he could fly over and just stay out of all monster's catch that way.
The path continues like what you suppose is a regular path around here.

The bear giggles, "No, silly. I said I was Kikiyawonawi, not Breakfast. Who would want to be Breakfast? That would be silly. Lunch is much better than Breakfast, everyone knows that." The bear sits down, staring at you two expectantly.
"Now, which one to eat first." Kikiyawonawi muses, looking back and forth between you and Alex.
"I'm poisonous." Alex squeaks.
Kikiyawonawi shakes its head, "No, you're not. You're a magical human. I can eat you no problem." Alex shrinks.
"Oh, I was hoping that the poison bluff would work."
"Nope, doesn't work on me." The bear says, shaking its feathered head.

She barely acknowledged he was there. "Mm-hmm. Have fun trying to find something like that. I'm quite happy to have at least something to defend myself."

Aria raised an eyebrow. "But you can't. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Besides you can't eat either of us first. That wouldn't be polite at all, and you can't eat both of us at the same time, then you wouldn't be as full."

Zach nods in agreement, flapping his wings and taking to the sky. He glides over head, silently watching from above. "The path splits up ahead." He notifies you.
When you get to where it splits, you have two options.
Left - Feathers
Right - Sounds of water
