Whatever they were, they were now surrounding you. They were still mainly hiden by the high grass of the field yet close enough for you to fully see their shapes and part of their colorations. They were some kind of six legged beast with a triangular shaped head, their bright pink eyes seemed to contrast with their surrounding. For some raison you could tell that they were not threatening.

I continue to watch them, still a little unnerved by their sudden change of movement. A quick glance confirms what my gut is telling me. They're not hunting me, just seemingly curious.

They seemed to chirp to each others for a bit and a fethered snout emerged slowly from the plants. They had the features of a fox, eight bat like wings folding into paws and long lezard like tail. Their body were cover in pale yelowish feathers contrasting with their bright pink eyes.

They seemed to have a mind of their own as they cligned to the pillar for a while before relenting, allowing you to expose the delicate mecanical structure beneth it.
