"and I'll make you choke and die on water don't test me" she said looking at her with her arms crossed "now go with your boyfriend before I murder you" she smiled

"no!" i round on her, crossing my arms "we are not done, may we continue?" i ask, though it doesn't matter what she says. "ok ladies!" Jesse interjects "how about we move on" he suggests. "seems good to me" i shrug, following his lead as he continues down the walk.

She smacked her in the back of the head and ran giggling "my future bf is way better than your future bf anywayssssssss soooo" she smirked

"Bloody toddlers" I murmur, I follow Jesse, growling to myself

"want to know a secret?" Jesse asks, smirking. i nod. "i know jack. we used to live in the same apartment complex as children. i also know that Jack is deadly afraid of his feelings and there is no way he's going to know how to handle maples professions of love. the best she'll get from him is labored gasping as he has an asthma attack"

i look at him, grin slowly spreading on my face. "oh my god... are you serious!?" i wheeze "that is the best thing ever."

"Shot not telling her" I yelp, who ever told Maple would get, well, wet to say the least.

Maple heard that and she fell silent, she just knew something was gonna go wrong a feeling of guilt covered her face "I'ma head back guys-" she said turning around quickly and going back to the house, hmph she was best off if she didn't tell him anything about her feelings and left it alone so he wouldn't die on her and she wouldn't make a fool out of herself, she's been single for this long what's another few years, she was horrible at showing love in the first place to be honest, so she wouldn't be surprised if she was rejected besides she didn't wanna date this girl's roommate, her insecurities came back and she wanted to hide under a bed and never come out

"oh god, his asthma isn't like, bad bad, is it?" i ask, not hearing maple due to the roar of someone nearby erupting in to some sort of flame, becoming ashes. "no no, it's not bad. he has his inhaler on him always anyways" Jesse assures me, seeing the look of horror on my face.

Maple keeps walking until she makes it to the house and changes into some clothes and sitting on a bed quietly staying to herself, she promised herself to not say another word to the others especially her jerk bf she now hated with a passion and her in a way for some reason, she then began reassuring herself that she doesn't need to be in Jack's life and they can just be strangers like when she first met him, all he is, is the bee guy that hates his own powers, she said leaning against the wall

"well, it's getting late, you should head home" Jesse says, after a few more hours of walking around. by now i've finished my icecream (and the funnel cake, which i shared with everyone) and am getting a bit tired, so i agree, allowing Jesse to walk us home as the sun falls.
