"You're too sweet. I would start arguing against being perfect but I don't think anybody would win that fight," he said with a wink

" It would end in a tie as it usually does.. " Raven said, looking at all of her bandages.. She felt so weak and useless always being in the hospital.

Blaze went to check on Sawyer who had been silent since the news about Raven. ( Assuming he thinks she's dead still and is back. ) So, Blaze knocked on Sawyers door.

Ash nodded. "You okay?"

Sawyer answered and kind of just stared with a raised eyebrow

" With you by my side? Always am and always will be. "

Blaze smiled slightly, " How're ya doing? " The older boy asked, his clothes dusty from rounding up cows.

"I hope so..."

"Well, besides the fact that my worst enemy stole my lady, I'm doing just fine."

" Don't worry, I know I will be fine. Maybe weak for awhile, but that is to be expected. "

Blaze chuckled softly and rolled his eyes, " Well, roosters should protect their hens. Otherwise 'nother rooster would be happy to do it for them. "

(Sorry, the teacher almost caught me)

Ash nodded. "That's okay."

"It wasn't my fault she fell out of love with me."

( oof, be careful and u should be doing le school work. )

Raven sighed softly, " I don't want to be a burden, so I hope it doesn't last too long. I don't like the idea of needing constant help. "

Blaze shook his head, " Well, that wasn't. But, when ya had a chance to win her back ya didn't do it right. If ya still want her in yer life as a friend, you should probably try to fix things now. "

(I had free time, but the teacher wants us to use it wisely and I didn't have anything else to do, so...)

"You're never a burden. A burden is someone who knows they can do something on their own but just doesn't want to and then they have other people do it for them."

Sawyer didn't answer. Instead, he slammed the door shut.
