It was supposed to be a 50% chance to drop. However, after looking at the code and testing, there was a logic issue where it was not actually awarding the items after picking one.

This issue should now be fixed.

Since this has been going on since the Event began, for the remaining duration of the Fortune Event, I have increased her original chance of 50% to 75%. So, now, every 3/4 Maeves should be dropping Avatar Items for the rest of the Event.

There's a bug with the Lucky Pot where prize rollover is not working correctly.
I found 3+ of certain prizes over multiple games but I did not receive the rewards and the counter did not reset. Here's a screenshot:


This is the first time this has happened to me. Not sure if it has something to do with the fact that I won a themed pet that round and the themed pet bonus bar reset.

Edit: Gave the Lucky Pot another go and it seems to be working again (received rollover prizes and the counters reset). However, it might be worth investigating what went wrong the first time to stop it happening again.

im a little confused. i voted the first time, on all of them, but now i can vote again? but this time it shows me the percentages while i vote??? isnt that basically cheating then? how does that work

I clicked on the letters that said click here to vote and it didn't do anything. What does that mean?

It looks like if a player did not fill out a bracket during the Selection Phase, it was not allowing them to vote in the Round of 32. This should now be fixed and those players should be able to participate in voting.

I really have no idea how this would happen. I've definitely never seen this issue before either. Did anything weird happen during that play that seemed odd or anything that maybe stood out?

Did you end up like maybe having a rollover of 7 or something, but it only went from 7 to 4 instead of 7 to 4 to 1? Even still, looking at the code, it shouldn't do that even in that case.

We have implemented the Participation Prizes and Leaderboards for the Tournament of Themed.



We retroactively awarded Participation Prizes to players who filled out a complete Bracket during the Selection Phase and voted in the Round of 64. These prizes will now automatically be awarded to players moving forward.

We now also display Leaderboards on the page for the tournament and, at the top, players can see what their current rank, points, and potential maximum points are. This will update automatically as each Round ends. Prizes for the Leaderboard will be awarded once the tournament has ended. If you did not fill out a Bracket during the Selection Phase, you cannot participate in the Leaderboard rank/prizes (as you do not have any picks stored).


Also, a reminder that today is the last day to participate in Voting for the Round of 32! The Sweet 16 Round will begin tomorrow.

I can't really remember anything strange happening that round, other than the fact that I won a themed pet (and a retired one at that, a 2-vis Happy Winds Aurleon). I had played several rounds with a full themed pet bonus bar, maybe 4 or so, until I got this pet.

At least the issue resolved itself when I played again. I know for sure because I uncovered three avatar item squares that round and got two avatar items at the end (so one for that round and one for the previous round from rollover prizes that I should have received already).

I'm sorry I can't provide any other information...
I hope you get to the bottom of it but if not, at least it seems to work correctly on the following round.
