Thanks! I love the Chinese New Years too, mostly because we unmarried kids get pocket money. X'D

Although what I am doing would be the western equivalent of "Oh, Christmas is coming! Lets give it a Western-ish theme!"

Uhm....I really hope the 'one official entry' thing didn't apply to all of the contests...because here's the Lunemara wing mutation I designed, based on ladybugs. Because I always think of ladybugs when I think of spring xP

Here is an image of the mutation on its own, as well as an image of it being used in conjunction with the gene I submitted in the other thread.

Note: I was thinking a semi-transparent sort of thing for the actual wing part...? but I wasn't entirely sure how to depict that, so I just coloured them in XD

The top part where the actual ladybug shell...thing...is, would be what was keyed in to the appropriate mutation colour slot, while the spots were undecided and the lower half where the actual wings are would be keyed to the eye colour.

Yay for paint... not
*hopes is allowed to change entry coz has better idea* I was wondering what happens to a Griffi if it stays out after Winter ends and Spring begins... it seems I've found my answer.

Meet Melty, who is showing the Melted Wings mutation. His wings are in a bad shape because he is out and about during spring, they have basically evaporated. They are dripping magic Griffi wings stuff everywhere, and cracks are starting to show. :( Poor Melty

I had some extra time today, and when I got on to feed my pets, I clicked on this thread, and, it looked like fun so:

It has vines all around it, with flower buds coming from the vines in some areas, it's tail now has a flower on it, it's antennae are replaced by vines, with glowing flowers on the end.

I hate to show off my distrubingly bad drawing skills and lack of ability to actually show what I want people to see here, as such I will be attempting to describe what I was trying to show. My Nelphini mutation here is based off of the winged serpent deity Quetzalcoatl, a heavily feathered serpent that has many myths and legends from various cultures. Some of these history note it as a Creation deity contributing to assisting in creating life and another depict it as the god of the Morning Star. Spring represents to me represents the start of bringing new life into the world and the rebirth of warmth and joy to the world again; a new beginning.

My poor drawing was an attempt to show two pairs of feathered wings which can be manipulated independently of the other set and soft feathery tufts by the sides of their heads. I know the sizes of the wings and tufts are probably not proportional but I hope I got the general idea across.

So I realized that vulnyxs only had two pairs of wings and to me only one pair since I prefer feathered wings.Anyway I didn't base the wings off of anything I just made them up and I just call them butterfly wings.
