Circus or Jester Markings for the Puffadore. This is meant to work a lot like Tiger does on the Griffi, with Color 3 (red in this case), highlighted lightly under the color of the gene.

Faelora gene "Wildfire" for Gene Slot 2 (blue), with the secondary color borrowed from Color Slot 1 (green).

Vulnyx pattern, intended for slot 3, but could work in any of them:

I had so print it out and my scanner decided to make it larger when I tried scanning it back in...

I wanted to do a colorful, tropical feeling gene, so here's Tropical Splash. :3 It was originally meant to be Tropical Runes.. but it sorta stopped looking rune like. If it was made it could certainly be more rune-ified though. XD


It was intended to remain as is, like Rainbow Runes, however, it's certainly possible to make the two droplet marking colors changeable, such as the orange droplets being Marking Color and the yellow ones being say Eye Color or whatnot.

I find that for lighiras gene one and two, a lot of people don't take full advantage of the fact that they are different colours or they can mix-and-match. At least, a lot of projects with lighiras I have seen have g1 and g2 the same type and same colour, or just one of them (which may or may not be because of the gene point limits for the essences).

For many preferring gene 1 and 2 being the same colour, I think it is because the difference is quite jarring.

So I tried making a gene that looks like it blends together. This can be applied to all genes, but I choose marbled since it is fitting for a cat-like species, and it is quite beautiful. (The marbled I used is the marking from bengal cats, and I feel like I didn't do the marking justice here, I was unable to capture it well.)

Although this is really two genes, they use the same design so it should be counted as one. Right?

And I also added streaks in the hair because the mane of lighiras stand out a lot with their plainness sometimes, especially when you have all three genes that doesn't colour the mane at all.

I wanted to go with an egyptian theme, without making it a mutation. I call this Sunback or Sun-tan Zolnixi. Gene 3 would be filled. I thought that triangles would be connectable to sun rays and pyramids.

My entry is a bit sad looking (my computer painting skills are not strong), but hopefully you'll get the idea. Basically, when I think summer I get lawn rainbows. So, for Gene 2, I suggest Rainbow Mane!
