Being in New England, the flowers that bloom in autumn are always just as pretty as the ones in summer and spring!

While the beginning of the school year isn't necessarily something most people celebrate, it's still very much associated with fall, so I decided to come up with something related to that. This is the Blackboard Bulbori (or Back-to-School Bulbori); its main color is the dark black-green of a chalkboard, while the genes and mutations are all meant to be light pastel chalk shades. (The neck ruff/tail is the color of an eraser. :) )
