2. When the Site's available, you can visit your Sylvorpa's profile and a box will pop up. It will say something like, "This pet is able to allocate 2 Visible Traits and 1 Carried Trait". You can then select new traits wherever you want for the missing traits. In order words, you will be able to completely redesign the traits of all Sylvorpas. You will still not be allowed to choose the new traits though.
I've got 10 6v and all of them have at least 1 hidden trait (2 have 3 hidden traits, 3 have 1 trait, and the other 5 have 2 hidden traits) will I loose this then and be stuck with them just having 6 visible and no hidden traits or will this allow me to give them their total gene point numbers back? (I know the generator says 12 points 2 for each visible but with hiddens I've always counted them as 1 point each so for my count wise those with 6v and 3 hidden would be 15 gene points)
A visible regardless of what it contains counts as 2 points. However, I will try to allow traits such as "AB" to be selected.
I don't know 100% for sure how this will all work because I haven't created it yet lol... but I promise I will make it as best as I can so that everyone will be satisfied and happy with the revamp. It is never our intention to upset our players so we will always try to avoid that as best as we feasibly can.

Okay, thank you...I'm safe, I have the markings saved to a paint file so I know exactly what shades I had and which markings. For the stuff in the hatchery....yeah, I'm going to be fixing them for days...and days, and....days....but the generated ones are safe I don't mind.

"2. You can then select new traits wherever you want for the missing traits. [...] You will still not be allowed to choose the new traits though."
Question to clarify: Does this mean you pick Gene 1/Gene 2/whatever, but it is random?
Or, does "new trait" (occurrence 1) mean "pick whatever you want" and "new trait" (occurrence 2) mean "you can't pick traits that will be introduced in this update"?
Either way, thank you, this is a nice thing to do and I appreciate the option to choose. (And I'm glad I held on to my legendary chocolate sylvorpa despite his unfortunate traits, lol.)

You will be able to select the specific trait.

Well, I'll see what happens but what I need to know is if the hatchlings will default to the parent's look if the parents are identical? Because the pairs are each identical in colors and marks, the only odd one out is the leafy female that is going to be used to layer on other traits between the pairs.
Fortunately, they haven't been breeding long enough to have mature babies...and there's no second generation to mess up just yet which are at the same time old enough to breed.
