Time to get my entries in! All images are clickable.
First off, I do not have a pumpkin this year, so I decided to pick a fruit which is harvested in the fall and there are some festivals surrounding it in the fall. The mighty Apple!
Now, presenting my mighty jack-o-apple, Creepy Pac-Man Apple!
Man, he really wants those 'cherries'! I don't think the ghosts will be bothering him this time!
For my entry on the digital pumpkin, I decided to print it out and paint on it using acrylic paints. I don't have a drawing tablet, nor am I really good at digital art, so I decided to go with a medium I am better at. If this is not an acceptable entry, please let me know and I will do another one.
I decided to try and do a blue flame effect with the different shades of blue. Basically, I've painted a dragon flying in a starry night sky with a full moon out, and the dragon has just unleashed a fireball!

this took forever, because i am pretty bad at art in general, but i might as well try...
(took forever to make and to post...)
hope nobody minds i changed the color balance of the pumpkin to make it look was darker...
yes, that pumpkin has a really thin width. oh well.
edit:
ha! it finally worked!
:) :P (:
P. S. the white thing in the pumpkin's mouth is the bottom of the candle inside. (:

I've got to head to work here, so I have no time to explain, but Flute made a handy dandy guide on how to go about posting pictures~!
I see so many wonderful entries. :O I picked up a pumpkin~ I'll edit this post with my submission if I get around to carving it.

I didn't think I was going to get to enter, being stuck here at college... But my mother surprised me by picking me up this morning and bringing me home for the day to do pumpkins! So here we go!
We grow giant pumpkins in the back, so I decided to carve on the second biggest one, mainly because it had a nice smooth surface for carving.
But of course, because it was so big... All the little designs just looked tiny on it. I had to do something bigger, but we weren't going to find somewhere to print out a larger design, and trying to tape together multiple pieces of paper is a hassle. So instead, I found the design I wanted, and then used a sharpie to freehand it onto the pumpkin. Came out a lot better than I honestly expected it to, since I'm not really very good with drawing!
Carving time! It was taking forever, so kudos to my mother for helping me carve once she finished hers.
Almost finished! We wanted to move it before taking out the final supporting pieces, just to make sure it didn't crumble when it was lifted.
Sitting in the doorway while my father got the tractor - because moving it in the way necessary to not break it was too much for one man
Finally in place with all the others, ready to be lit up tonight!
And: BONUS! Because Snickers is such a pretty kitten. <3
Update: Lit up!
