If you need help, it'll be faster if you post in the faq forum. Experienced players are more likely to go there and help those with questions.

I believe if you go to explore > world map, you should be able to see viridian meadows, and there should be a clickable area there. That should be where you're supposed to do the quest.

There should be a little fairy on the bottom right of your screen guiding you through the tutorial. What is she telling you to do?

MONTHLY ITEMS
Just as a single user's perspective on the monthly avatar items (take with a grain of salt):
I think the increase in 'quality' was the problem. Below are my three reasons why.

- Price point and time spent by artist:
The increase in quality of the monthly avatar items caused more time spent on them by the artist, as such they were priced higher and higher. At a certain point it just felt too much for a single item. Rather than helds being 100-200 diamonds, they became 300-400 diamonds. And bundles being >1k-5k diamonds.

- Different perspectives on art quality (sorry how this sounds artist(s) TT_TT -- you're great)
Additionally, the increase in quality meant the avatar items were more detailed and shinier. The details were becoming a bit 'busy', or rather, overdone. Kind of the saying that more isn't always better? The shiny art was a bit overboard in that sense as well. I actually prefer the majority if not all of the older monthly avatar items over the more complex and excessively shiny newer ones.

- Less interest in non-recolorables
Also, more frequently this past year, a lot of the monthly avatar items were non-recolorables. Which I as a user stray away from. One of the beauties of Sylestia to me is the color wheel! So if possible I like to use it. I know some users like to collect all items from festivals, but I just go for recolorable items. (Barring helds of course)

Im so excited for this. I bought the new species when it was available in the shop months ago...and have been DYING to create it.

That'd be cool if the new species would be an alternative for the old Vulnyx lineart (you know, how it looked like a cat.) Other than that, it'd also be cool if there was a mouse-rodent type species.
