@Ladygin,

I have a few suggestions. My first suggestion is to get all Rare/Legendary (Purple/Orange) gear for your pets. Mysteria seems to be your physical attacker, so Myrmidon stuff is great for her. You're definitely going to want to get higher level Relics- green ones DEFINITELY aren't going to cut it! Assassin stuff on Kelly looks great, as she appears to be your damage sponge (or Tank, as they're often called).

But, equally or possibly even more important... is the third party slot! It's invaluable. You need it as well as want it. It's great. You can choose to put another physical attacker in, but I prefer going the Tank/Fighter/Mage route.

When you're looking for Relics, you're going to want to be careful to make sure that A) it's the right damage type (physical damage on Assassin/Myrmidon, magical on Evoker/Illusionist), and B) not both damage types. When it's both damage types, it picks one or the other to do damage with, and it's always weaker than a Relic that's dedicated to one type of damage.

You can pick up a lot of equipment relatively cheap if you stalk the Trade Broker. Doing missions is actually the best way to get equipment, though, in my opinion. Far more reliable and the equipment quality is actually tons better than what's randomly generated through enemy drops. Dedicate a couple of Sylesties to doing Lv. 25 missions at the moment and you'll soon find yourself swimming in useful potions, revives, and equips, as well as tons of cash. (Missions are also the best way to get gold, hands down. Most reliable and you can send tons of pets out at the same time. The money it costs to get more mission pets is a worthwhile investment, and pays itself back ridiculously quickly.)

SO

Good luck, and let me know if you have further questions!

Wow thank you. My friend helped me to readjust my pets. Kelly, Stewart and Gin are now what I am using. Still can not beat the dungeon, but Im sure that will come shortly. I am doing missions as many as I can at this point. I think the hardest part when you first start out, as I have learned, is having to pay to heal your pets, as they do not heal themselves over time. Im learning slowly, still dont quite understand all the magical versues physical. Another thing I have noticed being new, is not many will answer in chat if you have questions. The forums are nice for guides and such, but not very active, at least not csince I have been here.,

Pets do heal over time but it's very slowly. They won't if they're unconscious, though. Missions will give you Revival Draught I's in batches of 8 (assuming you're doing the orange missions), which should make it a little more cost-effective to battle and strengthen your pets. But yeah, I feel you. Starting out is pretty difficult, but once you get into the swing of things everything just starts dropping like flies.

Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to beat Talon every time. And eventually the boss of the next Dungeon, too.

I'll give you guys a hint about the first riddle if you like. It took a group of us brainstorming and testing to see if it worked and we have finally figured it out <3

The clue to the answer is related to the world of Sylesti. It is something you see on every single screen no matter where you are on the site. It has to do with being outdoors. (The clue says something about the outside being the clue to the right rune on the inside)

man you're right, the rune choosing is based on the weather!
warm rune -> sunny
cool rune -> coudy
wind rune -> windy
wet rune -> rainy
shock rune -> stormy

I totally missed all of the finally 3 number codes. This is really upsetting since I've been at this for days... And I've never made it this far.... Any help would be appreciated.

You need to remember the numbers that are pointed out to you along the way. Like... 3 carvings of Aurleons or 8 Treasure Boxes.

If you don't pay attention to those, you'll never get past that door.

Really appreciate the advice I've gotten from reading this. One question I was wondering about that doesn't seem to be here yet: Is there any formula for the treasure chests at the end? Like, you could get this or this from this trunk... I've gotten gold from the glowing trunk- does it follow a pattern?

I've got another question about that pesky slider puzzle ... someone said in a different thread I'm not able to find again, that you can simply outwait it? It does say something about a timer when you get there - but I've waited for ages and I'm still stuck there?

Edit: Okay, in case someone else wonders about that: It's a certain number of moves (300 or so?) , not a timer.
