But didn't Krin's announcement say that the higher the vis, the higher the stats? I thought they increased together, not just one or the other. Or did I interpret that wrong?
"While the chances remain the same for high Trait pets in both shops, higher Trait'd pets now also have higher Base Stats" is what the thread said...i'm sorry if I totally misinterpreted what you were saying, it's early xP

edit: just to clarify what I thought was the case, i thought the price was determined by the trait points alone, which in turn grant a stat boost that scales depending on the number of TP.
(though I guess more data is needed either way. we know nothing right now, lmao)

I am curious if Rixva's understanding is correct (higher genes=higher stats). If so, it would really simplify things (and better explain the big jump in prices).

I believe that it is correct that higher Traits now equal higher stats, but I could be wrong. xD That's just how I understood it when I read it. ^_^

Well, here he is! A 1vis2carry epic. I admit I was hoping for more vis (I mean, come on. I'd say that price was worth at least 2 vis xD) but his stat boost isn't something to sniff at! For comparison take a look at this 1vis girl from before the update. It looks like about 20 points more in each stat! And a health boost too (maybe)??



I'm inclined to believe that legendaries and mythicals still aren't obtainable from the gold shop, but I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Yeah, I was hoping he'd be at least a 2 vis for you, too. I guess we'll have to watch for if there's eggs more expensive than his was. The boosts really are nice though. Are you going to mutate him? And any thoughts on which yet if you are?

1.2 mil and an epic, that's kinda sad x( His stat boosts are incredible, though! Congrats for that!
I have a feeling that legendaries might be like 2mil gold or something....

@Savynn: Oh well. He does have a new trait (pearl helm) hidden under his vis, so that's at least something ^^ If I mutate him, it will probably be one of the new genes, but I'm not sure if I like Leopard or Clouded Leopard better. :)

@Feathy: Well, I was kind of expecting it since legendaries and mythicals were never available as eggs, just as hatchlings paid for with badges. But at least he's not a 4 carry epic, that would have really been disappointing to me xD



I will be interested to see if anyone else is willing to pay that much gold now that we know what came out of it x3

Haha, it was just my natural curiosity xD I didn't even think about it, just snapped it up when I saw it. I made back most of the gold already though, so I don't regret it ^-^
