"Thanks." Ratna said as he entered the shack. It was small but cozy and definitely nicer than some other placed he had stayed in the past.

No one will mind if I take a little walk, Aki thought.

"An understandable cause," Adra said, patting Wildfire's side as Tolka whimpered happily at her feet. "I personally moved here because the Northern Water Tribe is so pushy. I can't even Water-bend without getting a thorough lecture. Avatar, huh? I've heard rumors, but I thought they were just, I dunno. Rumors."

"Prince Zuko told me he found the Avatar in the Southern Water Tribe, but he escaped." Lee said.

Stesha walked around her small hut her and her 2 brothers called home. Her two little brothers ran around in front of the house, chasing each other and throwing handfuls of sand at each other. "Mao! Oram! Stop getting your selves dirty! If you are going to get dirty, you don't just throw handfuls of sand at each other!" Oram and Mao looked at each other confused, then turned to Stesha, realizing what she meant. They both turned and started to run laughing. Stesha chased after them, forming a snake of sand behind her. The boys stopped, not knowing that Stesha was behind them. She launched the snake at them and it got everywhere. Their hair, their clothes, and their mouth. "That's how it's done, boys." She said then walked to the hut to get lunch(?) ready.

Earth Kingdom ~ Day~ Rainy

Lee and Ina were practicing their bending together. A storm was forming overhead. Droplets of rain started to fall to the earth.
"Ha! Sloppy, really sloppy!" Lee said, taunting Ina.
"Sloppy?! I worked hard on that move!" Ina said hotly.
"Lemme show you some real bending!" Lee said.
Lee made a few complex hand gestures, bringing down a bolt of lightning and moving it around in a circle. His eyes were closed in deep concentration. One mistake could be fatal.
Then, suddenly, he opened his eyes and directed the energy to a tree stump. When the electricity hit the tree stump, it exploded. The explosion could be heard for miles.
Lee took a deep breath. "That's what real bending should look like." he said.
Ina's eyes were sparkling in admiration. "Wow! You're so good!" she cried.
Lee's face fell. "Not good enough for my father..."
"Now listen here Lee, you may never be the best bender in the world, but you'll always be the best bender to me." Ina said, resting a hand on his arm.
"Thanks Ina."
"Now, enough talk, we need to find some shelter!"

Stesha heard the boys open the door and turned around to see them soaking wet. "Make sure you change your clothes and take your shoes off at the door." Her head snapped to the window as a tree exploded. Lightning bending. Fire kingdom. Stesha pieced them together and yelled at the boys to take cover. She took the pan off the fire, then ran outside, going to the tree. She was panicking, she heard that prince Zuko was looking for the avatar, and that Aang, the avatar, had escaped along with 2 water tribe members. Did they think he was here, learning earth bending? As she neared the tree she slowed down. Stesha was soaked now and her green clothes weighed her down. she poked her head out from behind the tree, seeing two children. "Hello?"

"Oh... um hi. My name is Lee." the white haired boy said. He looked seventeen and had a sort of aristocratic air about him.
"I'm Ina!" the girl said. She had long brown hair, and looked about fifteen years old.

Stesha walked out from behind the trees and stayed about 3 yards away from Lee. "Stesha. Do either of you know where that lightning came from? If there are fire benders around, I don't want my brothers to get hu-" Stesha stopped, realizing that Lee was wearing fire nation clothes. "What are you 2 doing here?"

"Uh... Well, before you try to kill me, hear me out. I'm a Fire Nation outcast. I lost a Agni Kai, so I'm not allowed back. Ina's from the Earth Kingdom Colonies." Lee said.
Ina nodded enthusiastically.
