Not so much rare as incredibly popular lol!
I have sold soooooo many Zolnixi essences (both from here and via personal requests in PMs). I almost never have one for more than five minutes unless I don't post that I have any up right away. The other essences on the other hand? ....not so much.

Man, if only I was 18 years old. ;n;
The thing is, I could buy a green dot card from any pharmacy store like CVS, and it's like a prepaid card that can be used with a paypal account...except my account is locked in at my legit age lolol.
Otherwise, I'd put real money into Sylestia. x.x

Ouch. Well there is the exchange feature that allows you to trade gold for Diamonds. Just a matter of having Diamonds available on the exchange. Conversely, if you talked to anyone who has Diamonds, and are willing to part with a few, you could set up a deal that way. It requires a bit of finesse, both parties being on, and ensuring you're both ready to make the transaction to guarantee that everything goes smoothly.
This is why trading essences for Diamonds is a little tricky right now. There is no CoD for Diamonds feature (yet), so I have to make sure to catch the other person on, swap gold for the Diamonds, and then CoD the essence to the user for the amount of gold I exchanged the Diamonds for.

That's a lot of good involved...o: To be honest, for things worth getting, I see that it's easier to devise ways to buy my way to them rather than with diamonds at the rate they go. x:
Also, what does CoD mean? I've been wondering that since I've been here.

Yeah, I suppose. Then again, people are selling enhanced essences for 100k (which should equate to 1000 Diamonds, but people are charging more gold per Diamond?), and I am giving them a discount in all forms compared to other sellers.
CoD means Charge on Delivery. It just means that the person getting the item is paying the amount listed when they accept the item.

I never made 100k before, but to be honest, it seems like a fair deal. Plus I think the last time I checked, diamonds weren't exactly on a 10 to 10 ratio (15k = 10 diamonds, so by that rate, 150k = 1000 diamonds).
I do think that not being able to work with cash develops a sort of work ethic about an internet player though lol. The prices you sell your enhanced essences for is pretty good, since I've been nearing 80k, though I do hope you get diamond buyers though. o:

I haven't really looked at the exchange lately. Last I saw Diamonds up, they were going for 2k per? Which would amount to about 2 mil gold for the amount one person would otherwise be spending 100k elsewhere for the same product. Just didn't seem ethical to me, so I forewent the offers. I try to base my prices off what people are selling the actual item for in gold versus how much it costs in the shop, thus the 100k:1000D ratio. Then from there, I have offered an additional 20% discount.
I imagine the newness of the site is largely to blame for the lack of Diamond sales, but I am hoping that will change in the future. 8>

The site being new is sorta cool; I always liked being an early beta member of anything interactive, as it's an opportunity to be one of the leading members (though this doesn't apply to everyone of course), though real life cash features are usually hard to sell unless the investments are REALLY enticing.
I do think that the exceptional scanner/genetic kits are great items, though their price is rather high, and would require dedication to get em, both on the gold buyer's and the diamond seller's sides ($15 in diamonds is hard for me to part with LOL).
Curious, do you think $10 for an enhanced essence (not diamonds, but real life currency before it's converted into diamonds) is worth it? Same question for $15 for an exceptional scanner/kit. o:

To be perfectly honest, before I had to shut down my bank account, I was highly tempted to purchase the testing kit. Unfortunately I had to wait until after I bought supplies for school which lead to me shutting down my bank account because I was tired of being screwed over. If I were to go back and do it again, or had I not been able to trade items and gold for the necessary amount, I would go back and buy the kit again. It is beyond worth $15 (well actually $14). With the amount of rare pets I catch, I tend to want to know what they carry, and it is far more economical for me to be able to test them all myself rather than go through all the hulabaloo of passing pets between accounts to find out. I imagine it will also prove exceedingly useful once I take up breeding projects as well.
As for essences? If I was buying them just to make double visible pets then no, I don't think I would spend that much actual cash on them, but I definitely would for breeding projects! It just becomes an evolving profit rather than an immediate one. :3
