Lightningstar laughed. "I still think we should keep looking, but if we don't find anything we can come back." She said standing up and looking out from under the bush. "It looks like it stopped raining. Ready to hunt?"

Stormpelt looked up to see it stop raining. She looked at Lightningstar and saw her laughing.
"Well, you're the leader, and I do agree with you. This is a pretty old place, and might crumble soon." she said. She flicked her ear as a drop of water landed on her ear.
"Oh yeah i'm totally ready to hunt!" she said and trotted over to Lightningstar, waiting for her to leave.

Lightningstar trotted into the forest and took a breath of fresh air before sniffing for prey. Unsuprisingly, there was none around her. She turned to Stormpelt. "I'm going to hunt down by the river. You can hunt in the forest a little uphill from there. Sound good?"

"Perfect." she purred. She nodded her goodbye to Lightningstar as they spilt up. She opened her mouth, looking for any type of prey.
Squirrel! I have to do this right, I know Lightningstar loves squirrels!
She got into a hunting crouch and slowly padded forward. She made her way out of a bush and saw the gray tail of a squirrel. She creeped forward. The squirrel flicked it's tail, and continued to eat it's nut. It was oblivious to it's stalker. Stormplet crept forward one more pawstep. She leaped. She landed perfectly on the squirrel, and gave the killing bite. She stood up, her tail proudly raised straight in the air. She dug a hole and buried her catch. She parted her jaws to scent a vole. Usually on her first try, she would miss the prey and she wouldn't find any more. This time was her best hunting trip.
She pinpointed where the vole was and went into a hunter's crouch. She crept forward, spotted the vole, and made no hesitation to leap. She flew into the air, landing halfway on the vole. Before it could run away the bit on it spine, killing it. She picked up her catch, eye gleaming, and went back to get her squirrel.
She held the prey by it's tails, and brought it back to the bush she found.

(Ok, but from now on please remember to use the hunting grounds game. Once you catch something you can write about it, but this way it will be fair hunting. Depending on how much energy you put into it, is kinda how it works.
Quick example:
I'm going hunting.
(Go to game) you miss a mouse. You catch a squirrel.
(Go to role-play) she crouched down and slithered up to the mouse. Her tail brushed up against a leaf and the mouse perked up before disappearing...
Get it?)

Frost smelled mouse she snuck up on it and pounced right before it got away. I think that 's anough she thought. Frost walked to a dry place and diseided too seddle down there There better not be anouther clan here!
(Oh, yes. In fact it would be better if everyone who is not in Lightningstar's patrol did not start out with a warrior name.)
Okie dokie! Her name can be Fang then.

Lightningstar jumped up lightly onto a rock, looking down into the water. A frog floated to the top of the water and she readied her paw. She flicked her paw at it, but it dived under the water before she could snag it. She hissed before moving to another part of the river, making sure her shadow didn't fall on it. After a while a small fish glinted in the sun and Lightningstar narrowed her eyes. This one was not getting away. She darted her paw forward and hooked it's tail. She yanked it out of the water and nipped it. She grabbed her kill and buried it next to her rock. She would try for one more piece of prey before returning to the bush. She glanced at the river and crept up to it, smiling when she saw the outline of a big fish. She balanced herself before deciding to try out the new move she had been practicing for catching large fish. The apprentices had thought of it, and it worked brilliantly, but you had to be quick. She dove in the water as fast as she could, sliding under the fish and arching her back. The fish flew out of the river and she spun around as fast and smoothly as she could, grabbing the fish as it began to fall. She hauled it out of the water panting. She was exausted. Lightningstar decided to rest a moment before returning with her prey.

Frost smelled something, other cats? she thought. Frost unsheathed her claws, There were two from what she could smell and they were traveling apart but then again they smelled like no rouge or housefolk cat she knew of.
