(Pinging so my questions don't get lost again ^^; )
First Question: Will we be getting updated colors for previous official themed pets?
The addition of Accent2 makes me wonder since all of my Lunes are themed, including my Maxed Stats Bottled Moonlight project. I'd rather keep my themed colors official and since my current offspring all have 6V, they'll be up for regen from the M3. The sooner I know what color to set them to, the sooner I can regen them properly when they're released, and the sooner I can get back to breeding them. (And I am obsessed with this game. XD)
Second question. Since there are so many drastic changes, will the regens even be able to achieve 6V status?
They were limited to 2-3 traits in M2 and M3 already so it does make me wonder if an entire trait slot will be lost with regens, or if there will be a corresponding "Firefly / Garland" and "Glow Dust / Swirling Snowflake" option remaining for these in the new M1 and M2.
At first look it seems that the current M1 (wings) and M3 (effects) will be smooshed into one, leaving the new M1 (Antenna/Head) completely blank for traits that exist now. With previous regens we were only allowed to use the traits that existed before, so if the current M2 and M3 traits are totally gone I'd hate to drop my 6-vis pets to 5-vis or 4-vis.
( I'd pretty much have to start my whole breeding process over and lose the 70% completion for maxed stats just to regain the visibles... And that would put me back about 6-8 months and more prismatic philters than I care to count .___. For the love of all project breeders, I really hope there was some fancy finagling done to ensure that current 6V Lunes can be regenned into 6V Lunes. )
Yea. We will have to update Themed Designs and then we can tag those pets with the option to 'reset' them to the new color scheme - up to the player's choice.
For pets without an AC2 (which is every pet atm), it will default to AC1. If the pet doesn't have AC1, it will default to EC.
The changes to Themed won't be announced until probably after the revamp is released - I'll probably be too busy with other stuff that I will get done first and then come back afterwards and update the Themed.
And there will be a decent amount of technically new traits that will be allowed to be chosen in a regen.
yes the lunemara are very beautiful . but exactly how do regen monsters work ?
Pets eligible for Regen will have their Traits reset to nothing and then you can go to a special Generator page and reallocate the Trait Points and/or change colors.
