Can you tell everyone to stop pinging me, unless they have something to do with my character? The DI's giving me funny looks. I really need to work on a case, but I can't concentrate with my phone going off every five minutes. I'll be on at about 2. (2 in London Time, that is.)

Proetus Arcalius Khan, more formally known as First Officer Khan, walked through the corridors, his coat billowing behind him. His loyal dog, Laika, trotted happily beside him. He had rescued the scruffy creature from near heat death when it was sent into space by the Soviets a long time ago.
He stopped at a door, pressing the panel to the right of the door frame, and headed inside.
His bedroom had black walls with blue lighting and was completely spotless. His bed was discreetly tucked away in a corner. Beside it was Laika's small heated cushion. A small stainless steel writing desk was pushed up against the wall, a communication device and a lamp occupied it. Also on the desk was a tin of dog biscuits, which Khan took the lid off of. Laika immediately became as still as a statue, silently waiting for her master to toss her one and shower her with praise, which he did.

Thano headed down the shady corridor to his quarters. They were simple, but thankfully private. He hadn't really expected quarters all to himself (actually, he wasn't sure what he had expected, but he certainly hadn't had this luxury back when he was posted on the freighter).

Orsola trotted to hers, and happily laid down on the plush bed. Felesians were rather picky about their bedding and..
