"Ho Hum." I mutter, and pick a path and start bounding up it, trying to reach higher altitudes. Were there other wolves around here?

The incline is growing steeper as you traverse up the mountain. No wolf scent is too be found though you do smell mountain goat.

Prey! A great way to practice hunting, and perfect, because I'm a bit hungry. I put my nose to the ground and start tracking the scent.

Luckily you soon are able to find the mountain goat. You are above it, gazing down from an overhanging cleft. The jump is about 10 feet down.

You gain one lvl in tracking.

I look around and crouch, trying to see if I can land on the goat without hurting myself. I'll try to use gravity to my advantage if there's nothing dangerous.

Surprisingly you manage to jump down. The Goat is still munching on grass. As you get closer you notice it smells old and weak. You are about 4 feet away from it behind a small rock. The wind is blowing away from it so your scent is hidden. It is close enough you could probably jump over the rock and kill it.

If you kill the Goat you gain one level in either leaping or hunting

I crouch and narrow my eyes, ready to pounce. I creep forwards a couple of centimeters before pouncing, aiming for the neck and trying to lock my jaws around it's windpipe.
