More show had fallen off the edge of the canyon. The flight up and above to where the snow loomed, threatening to fall down, would take an hour within itself as the cold effected your wings to act more slowly. It was probably safest to fly along the middle towards the middle or bottom, as the walls still sheltered from the wind above, but also meant you weren't close enough for the falling clumps of snow to trap your wings.

I screech again, diving to fly at lower altitudes. However, I did not go low enough to risk snow falling in clumps and trapping me. Sweeping over the landscape, I wonder if there is any way to get out of this snowstorm; that would be my first order of business. I look around and try to identify anything that would indicate warmer areas and no snow.

Characters name
Jay/Kit

Image (Human)

Image (Animal)

Personality
Generally, calm and easygoing, however he's also careful and quiet ready for anything to attack him. He will treat you as a friend (even if you tried to kill him) however poke fun at his blindness or anyone else's weakness's and he will immediately fall into a more dark mood. His dark moods show his darker side, he's sullen, uncaring and even cruel or violent. He tries to control them but sometimes enjoys them.

Backstory
For most of his childhood he was able to hide his blindness, even from his parents who he knew would throw him out if he showed it to them. He knew he was different and that they would hate him for it. The only person to know about his blindness was a girl called Annalise, however her brothers didn't like him hanging out with her as they knew something was off with him. So they sometimes beat him up. That's when he found he had a way with words. He could get through most fights by just talking, or even setting off his usual calm and easygoing mood it infected others. People found out he was blind when he was 15 but by then he was able to talk it away, and was welcomed a lot more, his easygoing and calm personality stayed and helped him through it. He didn't forget though, the fights being picked on, and even with his gift people still ostracized him for being blind. He can't help but think dark thoughts, about destroying the village, burning it to the ground....Hearing the screams of those that hurt him.

Animal type
Demon Wolf (Dolf)

Age & Gender
19, Male

Village

Profession

He is a slight Sadist, not on major scales but in his dark moods will look for fights just to feel the pain, or may even inflict self-harm.

Through the snow and mist, you were unable to see anything, but you knew to leave the canyon your village was settled in could take up to a day to walk through, although you were faster as a gyrfalcon. Your wings were beginning to ache, this was longer than you'd ever flown before or walked. Your stamina was beginning to run out and you would be forced to rest soon.

A blanket of snow pressed down in front of you. Your head ached. it was pain on another level. Everything was whizzing around you as the cold came in, flakes numbing you as it landed on your skin, sending out pangs of pain. As you looked up, the sky was a clouded blue grey. It made your eyes ache to look at it. Before your eyes, the place had faded away in front of you, covered by a thick large of impenetrable snow. Your home.
Everything you knew.

You had little idea what exists now and what was out of there, where you would go or where to even start searching for life. Was the whole area infected like this?
In a way, your heart ached as a sense of guilt washed over you. You looked at your hands. They didn't flicker with the usual light that panned down through the valley. You'd wished them dead that night. A pitiful morthling like yourself - the way they said you were a deformed version of mankind, was it true? Did you do this? Thoughts flooded your mind. The feeling of the ground shaking and snow falling down alerted you to your senses. You needed to get out of there.

Once she had gotten herself oriented, Katana Did not hesitate to run to the edge of the valley and shift into her smaller form to find a nook in the walls or hide under the snow, as climbing was not the best option with the now Icy surface. If she was visible she would stick out like a sore thumb so hiding was her best option as of now especially with the pain shooting through her body.

I slowly stand up and try to catch my balance. Once I am sure i'm balanced I morph (if I can) into my cat form and set off at a quick run, trying to get away from the valley.

The valley walls towered up beside you as you ran and the snow kept on falling down. As you hid in a small hole, you noticed fall down on the other side and the tunnel seemed to lead further backwards, but it was straight into darkness. Your fur began to tingle as you pressed against the stoney wall

(Whats your friend small/ medium animal?)

(Can morth freely)
The valley walls towered up high above you as you ran, snow scattering up behind you and numbing your paws. You could pick up the sound of wind blowing overhead and could barely see what way in front of you. You'd heard the route could take a day to get out of the valley, but then to were?

You were unable to see, but you felt a hoodie on top of you. The ground rumbled again and you could hear more snow falling off of the edges. By the fact you were sheltered from the wind, you guessed the walls stretched up high and you could feel mist-droplets against your face. You could feel your axe slung over your shoulder, the strap pressing the shoulder plate against you. In your pocket you knew you had food. It;d probably last five days if rationed.
